It's a really sprawly area. Has high traffic congestion on a few main thoroughfares. it demonstrates the usual suburban plan of just growing without a plan (add more lanes etc ) until it eventually becomes unmanageable. It looks nice in a suburban way, with expensive houses, nice lawns, and a lot of things to do that are relatively close by if you have a car, but in most places you can't walk to anything, and at rush hour you'll feel very lucky if you can work from home.
My family has been here since the 50’s and since it’s grown so big everything is extremely expensive stores and restaurants are always packed it’s honestly over populated for such a small town and you definitely need some money to afford living here
We moved from Ft. Lauderdale to Mason and it’s a breath of fresh air. If your family has been here 70 years, it must feel positively slammed but you can’t imagine how crowded FL is by any comparison to OH. There’s hardly any traffic in Mason to speak of.
It’s all about the schools. Mason schools are like private school caliber as part of your 1% city tax. They’re very large schools, but the teachers are excellent.
Hahahaha I find this insane. Me and my girlfriend are going to be moving from California so it cracks me up hearing you say it’s on the high end of the rent prices, when here $2000 get you a one bedroom house as opposed to Ohio where the same will get you three bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. It’s right next to my favorite roller coaster park too I can’t wait to live there

@@MikeLikesChannel good reason to choose small less glamorous cities I suppose. 🤔
