When I moved there late 70s there were 3 full size groceries, 2 bowling alleys, 8 gas stations, and a FotoMat 🤤 and too many barbers and beauty salons to count. The two fast food places were by the Sycamore bridge. It’s shuffled around quite a bit since then.
I grew up here. It’s a great city to live in especially with the new parks being built
I moved from there in 1995 Shame on how bad downtown has gotten, glad my grandson is being raised in Nc. Js
