Oteil Burbridge was the original TTB bassist when they started playing together live in 2010, was listed as the bassist on their 2011 debut album, Revelator, and played with them live in 2012. I watched him shopping in the Merlefest instrument tent in April 2012, then saw him play Swamp Raga on the new banjo bass he had just bought with his brother Kofi & Derek onstage with TTB later that day. The second TTB album, Made Up Mind, was released in 2013 and lists Pino Palladno as bassst, meaning Oteil left re band at least 2 years before Dead & Co. coalesced in 2015. I suspect that the Tedeschi Trucks Band's touring schedule and the band you're watching above are two reasons that Oteil left TTB.

What’s the reason Oteil is no longer in the TTB?
Otiel was never the bass player for TTB..He played often with them but was doing the Dead & Co gig ( fantastic) & so is this..🍑
