I was introduced to your channel via Nicola White. I’m now hooked to both of you and continue to be more and more appreciative of this little country we come from. Thank you. X
Yup, Sunday is the best day of the week....Mudlark Heaven 😍... if you haven't already, check out Mudlarking with Kit and Caboodlers...and Northern Mudlarks they also do some crafty work with their finds. Your Sundays will never be the same again 😂
Likewise here!
I told my neighbor about you and Nicola and my bucket list of mudlarks. She was paying attention because for my birthday she gave me a copy of the book. I was extremely excited. I never told her about the book. I love it; beautifully done. You guys are terrific. Hello from Florida.
So, on those shores you’ve got about 2000+yrs of history. I suspect the mud larking fraternity has barley touched the surface. These finds would be lost forever if weren’t for them. And your channel is showing us these little beauties. Keep it up.
What a day Si for metal bits sorted out by the River Thames, seals, buttons, excellent coins & a token! Enjoyed taking in the urban sights on the way to the foreshore! Thank You Kindly🧡Dudley
Great luck finding that little “foot” that you needed for your lovely planter. Funny how things can find their way to people who need them.
Cor blimey, fancy finding the 'missing' foot!! 🤗 The Thames certainly holds many a treasure!! #shared
Absolutely love watching your videos Simon. If we had access to history like this in New Zealand I would be all over it. I am always amazed by the age of the things you find. I have #shared this my wife and kids!!
Your friend Nick is very lucky! It is a wonder how a silver coin can last over 350 years in such good condition. Dear Simon, we gladly receive any gift offered "by your hands"! 🙂 #shared anytime
The audio has been heaps better since you put those furry bits over the mic. 🙂
Love your work.
Cheers.
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡 It helps when the wind is low too
@@Sifinds So the hairy balls are a good thing hahaha
I have shown your larking videos to many of the elderly residents at a local rest home; they love reminiscing about the items and stories of their early life. Thanks for sharing what you do Simon! 😊 #shared
That shovel! Dropping into the great grey-green greasy Thames, in the opener, is poetry in motion. Enjoy your work when you can. ⚓
As always another great day on the Thames. I wish I had something like that around me! Thanks for sharing your fun adventures!!!#Shared
I just showed a friend your channel today. After the first video, he said, "Well, we could watch one more if you want...." pretty sure he was still watching when I left. #shared
Too funny on the matching paw for the planter!! Love it!💕

Am i being silly? Where is the link to buy the book Si? :)
Btw, would be happy to send you some of our home-grown sunflower seeds for your planter?? :)
Every Sunday, I've grabbed a cup of coffee and spent time watching you and a few others like Nic, do a bit of mudlarking! Thanks for the entertainment and history lessons! :) #shared
Loved all the little treasures you found. My favourite has to be the poor lead soldier trapped in the time capsule of rust and debris searching for his missing head. #SHARED
Pre-ordered my book months ago & can’t wait! Love your channel Sci- great content, great editing, great photography & always timely. You make my weekend. Much love from Pennsylvania USA. ❤️
Thanks so much Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
That was so cool that you could actually use the “kitten paw” on your personal item.
I already have a copy and as soon as it arrived and I looked at the cover I recognized Si’s hands on the front after watching them pulling treasures out of the mud through hours and hours of videos!! Excellent book and excellent video!!
Always get excited when you find type face & garnets. Y'all found some amazing bits of history!
#shared
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Super finds this week. Especially like the buttons. Finding the foot for you planter was beyond lucky. Have a great week and keep safe.
Loved seeing all the finds today.
I saw an announcement from West Midlands Police today about how they are working with a team of volunteer detectorists to help find guns and knives etc that have been used for criminal activity.
Sounds good!
I think you must have been destined to find that planter foot! Love your videos and the hovercraft history hunters too :) #shared, that book looks a great read!
Great to see you back on the Thames foreshore again ! Always get excited about what you are going to find there !
The book is fantastic, whoever gets it will love it! You did a great job cleaning the anchor button. So many lovely little finds. Sometimes the little finds are more exciting than the bigger ones.
Can si sign the book as well then it's unique. Good luck everyone
Will do Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Even though I live in the North East of the US I purchased their book several months ago and love it. It is clear, very nicely organized, covers a lot, great photos, well-written! I learned a lot and recommend it.

The book sounds like a wonderful historical account for Mudlarks. Thanks for sharing! It's great some of your finds are in it.

Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Can’t wait for Sunday videos from Si Finds and Nicola! #SHARED.
The little foot reminds me of Nemo's little flipper.. I luv the sound of your trowels scraping through the rocks-waiting with anticipation for what is revealed..
⚓💎🗝️🏺
So many tiny little treasures today. They're always my favorites. #shared
Wonderful adventure with some top finds. Love the encrusted lead soldier. Nick's bag seal is beautiful. The navy button cleaned up well. Take care and stay well.
What wonderful finds! Would love to have Si sign the book as well since he's the cover😉#shared
Will do!
Pretty good finds there. That button cleaned up nice. Neat coins! How awesome you found that foot to fix your planter. Now you have all 4.
Si I was wondering if you were aware of the 1962 film called Mudlarks that British Pathé has available on their youtube channel. I think I recognise some of the same places that they go from your videos. It's pretty cool to see 👍
Yes seen it, very good
SHARED#. Well, Simon, another juicy, find-filled and interesting piece of you with yet another mudlark on the Thames foreshore! Love it, love it, love it! So many interesting bits. Those old coins and bag seals are just laden with history. Imagine how many peoples’ hands they passed through and the items and services they paid for. The tinier the find it seems, the more interesting and valuable they are to you!
That book looks so interesting. Very well set out too. If I don’t win it, I’m buying one anyway! It will take a while to get to Melbourne, Australia tho!
Can’t wait for the next exciting episode! Hooroo from Downunder 😁
I pre-ordered the book a couple of months ago when featured as upcoming on Nicola White's channel. It should be here very soon. Looking forward to it!
Shared on my Face Book page and story! Beautiful finds! I think the odd might be a top to a post maybe? Incredible the coins you found! Congrats on being on the cover and in the Book!
Great finds and the book looks really interesting shared with my friend on whatsapp #shared
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Cracking finds Si, and I love the re-use of the foot on your planter.
I see some fellow 'Canadians' have paid you all a visit. The mascot symbol of the town I grew up in was the Canada Goose. TY for the video.
Ah you grew up in Wawa.
You were so meant to find that little foot.Love watching your videos Si. Think i need a copy of that book.
This has got me into bottle digging and mudlarking #shared
I loved that more modern silver metal piece you found. I had an image of it hanging on a wall using an old style square head nail holding a large battery operated candle. Or, sitting on a surface holding one of you favorite bottles.
Briliant as usual.
Well done Si, loved the gems and beads, hi to Nelson. I shared this video 3 times, what great finds. Always luck in the muck, enjoy your week. 🇨🇦🐘🍁🤗
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
That naval button looks more like a ww2 Kriegsmarine button than a British one the back will tell all cause the German ones have a date on them
Just got the book Nick is holding. I’m in the USA and I had to wait 2 months to get it. It is truly worth the wait. I’ve been watching Si and Nicola, Northern Mudlarks for a long time on u-tube. And will continue to watch them. Someday I hope to visit the UK.
We all miss out because Si got his hands on every copy of the book🤔🍻
haw haw
Si-finds Thames Mudlark you're good to your mates, always covering for them🍻
Your so lucky to be able find so many treasures. I would love having one of your books. Good hunting. Mary D from Missouri 🇺🇸 🌎
Thanks for another fun outing on the mighty Thames!!! Wish I had been able to mudlark when I was last visiting England but at least I can be a vicarious mudlark through your channel. Shared this video with some friends and sending greetings from the Pacific Northwest of the US!!!! #shared

#shared - only recently stumbled across your channel and it’s become one of my favorites! I think I have now gone back and watched every video you’ve ever posted. I especially love the research you present on certain finds. Hope you keep it up for a long while. Much love from Florida in the U.S. ❤️
Simon found the headless horseman! Now to find Ichabod Crane!
Lol! 👍🏻👣🧡
Your Modern Mystery Item: add a bowl to that, to hold a ball of yarn and the tail of the yarn runs up through the tail of the metal base. Well, my family uses similar things when the knit and crochet. It prevents the ball of yarn from rolling around on the floor as they stitch.
Hi, Si! I've #shared your channel with my Mom, who's always loved curbdiving (me too!) and she adored it. Having guests on your show keeps it fresh! Great day out and incredible finds!

Si you ARE a Renaissance man adding Hand Model to your resume! Fabulous outing & finds w/ Nick today. My favorite things were the bead you found & a glimpse of the foggy skyline. I shared this video w/ a friend who has a business that involves lots of digging & has quite a collection of interesting finds. The planter fix was super. #shared
I got the book weeks ago after the nod from you and Nicola, it's a brilliant read and well worth the money, It's great to put a face to the authors. Cheers Si. Some lovely finds by the way :)
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Would love that book! Now Si needs to sign it for the triple threat! #shared Question: When you go out, are there certain areas that you'll find one era over another? And second question, what do you call those geese over there? Here in the States they are Canada Geese. (Not Canadian, but we all call them that... LOL)
Did you rescue the trapped soldier? Find anything else in the clump? Loved the smalls that could be made into jewelry! 😉. Always a good day when watching your videos! #shared
Oooo so excited for the book!!! Looks amazing! I live in US and mudlarking for me is finding Indian Artifacts! And bottle dump digging! Love this channel so much! Si has really helped me with a lot of my finds, I’ve learned so much! Thanks Si! #shared
Fellow bottle digger and arrowhead hunter and ...... rock hound, here in the USA 🇺🇸😎 love the blob tops!
Now that the book is available, I'm going to order a copy. Read "all the best Rubbish" as well. It's about mudlarking
Loved the repair to your Victorian planter...the world is put right now. 😊

Just amazes me all the COOL Things you find Love Mud Lover's and big hello to your friend and you as well Have great week
Awwww. Your planter has a gimpy foot. If it could walk it would now have a limp. Very endearing. Thanks Si and Nick.
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Thanks for the adventure. I love watching when you find all the small hidden items. Your button turned out fantastic! #shared
Nice book I will look into it! Wonderful finds thanks for sharing.

Great video. Super finds for you both! The photography was sharp and clear. Nice work. 🦋
Thanks Mudlover! 👍🏻👣🧡
Lovley little rose fathing and some great finds i found the little hemp bag seal interesting find great vid again si thanks sharing si #shared
Some fabulous finds on the foreshore. Love those rose farthings. Looks like a really cool book and covering so many periods of history. Brill. #shared
Just ordered the Thames Mudlarking book from amazon. Thanks for your interesting videos.🌟
Looking at those tokens, they are so small and so light, I’m not surprised people lost them. You could have several of those and a few farthings and not feel the weight at all in a leather pouch. The Georgian cuff link is lovely. They would have twinkled beautifully in candlelight. Thanks for ANOTHER great video 🌺🌝🌺
P.S. I loved the teeny foot . It’s like a puppy with a foot that didn’t grow. It looks .... vulnerable.
Spot on!
What all you got OMG excellent. What about the stones n that lovely silver coin like thing . Do upload such lovely video With information and facts about your findings. God bless you and give you more power n good health
Enjoy
Your video is the lifelinevof Sunday .
