- We visited Kiawah's Ocean Course, site of this week's PGA Championship, back in late 2019. Here's what stuck with us and a few thoughts on how it will play for the pros.

if he's saying his bites over B-roll, why not get a pick up of him saying the correct wind directions rather then adding subtitles? BUT I agree with what others have said, the production quality is stellar.

Great video.My parents bought a place in Kiawah in 1984 before the island became what it is today.. so i grew up going there.. Its funny that I started golfing at 4 years old (1990) with my dad taking me to the driving range at the Ocean Course (before they changed the rule that only those playing can use the range). Still, I've only played it twice in 36 years. 2003 and July 2022. Both times, I came into the round playing good golf for me. I'm a 7 handicap, I played from the gold tees....and have never broken 90. Its just absurdly difficult. Talking about the difficulty doesn't do it justice, it has to be experienced. The course is intentionally elevated so u can see the ocean so the dunes don't protect you from the wind making it sooooo much more difficult. Still a fun experience that id highly recommend
I may be wrong but it seems like you guys don't like very many courses, besides bandon.
Played here about a week ago, 7:30am, first out and in wonderful conditions. We had no wind, but it was still tremendously difficult.
I’m playing there in a couple of weeks on 4/4. I’m searching YT for any tips/tricks to help me from shooting an astronomically high score 😂

Since you guys have been to Bandon, Kiawah, and Pinehurst which would you say is your favorite golf resort? Or is it one not mentioned?
2 things I learned from this - 1/ Tron as a righty is insanely over the top. 2/ Neal's beard is fire.

I think he meant 8k plus was possible in theory but they don't run everything all the way back - put tees longer on downwind holes, shorter on into the wind holes and the net result is about 7300?
