Girl pulls out her gun, puts it away to tease the guy, pulls it out again to shoot him up, walks away, stops, turns around and does it again. This is what you fear in the Wasteland.
That last bit with the Wellingtons is surprisingly satisfying. Once she leaves the building, she actually runs off out to the train yard where Roy Phillips and the ferals are to die. If you already finished the Tenpenny Tower quest and killed them all, she'll just stay out there forever.
I loved Tenpenny Tower. It was like an oasis in the wastes... the over-the-top sadism of Mr. Burke, the oblivious decorum of Tenpenny, and all those petty bickering residents, that unforgettable music track that plays in the lobby, the scenic view from the penthouse balcony, my God... what transcendent beauty... what purifying light!!
I don't understand why the merchants leave. Even if they got robbed it's still safer than most everywhere in the Capital Wasteland. They could have even asked security to investigate. That would have been more interesting and realistic.
I can just picture them storming off in a huff grumbling to themselves walking through the wastes "hmm... hot out here.. and dry.. I'm thirsty" next thing you know they hear the clicking of deathclaw talons on the turf coming up behind them
You can find Argyle in Rockopolis (an unmarked location on the map). Argyle is Herbert “Daring” Dashwoods ghoul friend/man servant as stated in the GNR stories. However when you enter Rockopolis you fine Argyle is dead one you see this and search the body you can return to Tenpenny Tower and inform Herbert about his friends death. This also shows he is one of the only people in the tower that actually doesn’t outright hate ghouls and is unhappy hearing his ghoul friend died
THAT FIRST ONE MAN. IT"S LIKE A MAJOR REVELATION TO ME. When I first played fo3, I never got to get all the home upgrades at ten penny tower. I was not aware that they left because of theft. That explains everything. Honestly, thanks.
Spoiler alert The mission with this location is fucking dark. No matter how hard you try to end things peacefully, the character you help always ends up being a dick. I mean I legit did this in every way I could and shit still goes bad. Hell I helped Roy with the "peaceful" route, he legit murders every good person, even the old ladys. Like wtf
I was pissed off after I helped Roy, it felt like he was the closest way to getting a peaceful solution, but nope! Straight up murders everyone and stacks their bodies in the basement! They were terrible people, but they deserved better. Only good thing to come out of it was the ghoul mask lol
@@Synonymous101 That's one thing about Bethesda writing I cannot stand. When you discover what happened, you can't do anything about it, sure you can go up and call him Roy out on it, all he does is threaten you. Three-dog still calls you a hero for standing up for the Ghouls, but there's no option to bring up to him what happened or anything like that. It's just "That guy who was seemingly good you helped out? Yeah, he's a cold blooded murderous coward and there's nothing you can do about it, if you kill him, you lose Karma because we set him as very good karma". Either that or Bethesda have a very skewed black and white morality. Thanks for Fallout content, mate! Those are too short, I could listen to Fallout lore all day long :)
I know something a lot of people don't. You can claim player home in Tenpinny tower, even after disarming the bomb in Megaton, by killing Tenpinny and taking the key. I'm not sure, but I think the talon company hitmen will still come after you.
When you mentioned Land Of The Dead and Fiddler's Green I instantly smiled because I knew that that's what you were referring to and were the inspiration for Tenpenny Tower came from! Btw I love zombie movies! 😄❤️🧟
Tennpenny Tower is a no-win-scenario. Either you kill all the ghouls, or you kill all the tower residents, or you let the ghouls in the back door, and they kill all the tower residents. No matter how you slice it, it's a shit-show. I even tried booby trapping the back door with tons of landmines. Everybody still died. Best solution I've ever come up with is tell the ghouls you'll side with them to get the ghoul mask, then start stacking ghoul bodies.
That last secret? Give her the letter, and you won't be able to complete another mission in the game. The one in which you're tasked with killing a short list of individuals. Also, choose to be good and expose Tenpenny's spy in Megaton, you'll never encounter Tenpenny himself in the game. His spy will gun down the Sheriff. Forcing you to gun him down in exchange. (Be sure to bring plenty of guns and extra ammo for all of them as Mr. Burke is frustratingly hard to kill.) Afterwards when you eventually reach the Tower and make your way to the top, Tenpenny's chair will forever be empty. You can also have two main residences in the game. Normally you have to choose between the one in Megaton or the one in Tenpenny Tower. But again, play as a good character to get the one in Megaton. When you reach the Tower, you can go upstairs and pass a Speech Check with the guard to gain entrance onto the very top balcony. Go around the balcony, and enter your Tower residence through the balcony door. It's yours! Since you don't have the key to the front door of it, you can only ever enter through the balcony. You'll never get the front door key as again, Tenpenny will never appear in this type of play-through.
Oh that's not true at all. I killed Burke plenty of times, Tenpenny is always there. Also if you shoot his gun out of his hand, Burke will simply run away and end up back in Tenpenny Tower. Best to sleep for a few days to make sure that happens though. And Wellington doesn't kill anyone in the Gotta Shot them in the Head Quest.
