Nice flying! A very competent pilot, the only way to go. Checks out loud helping. Very reassuring to see young blokes doing so well, following us old fogies. Once we were warriors - at 18 flying with the RAFVR. Given respect; the first time in my life. Pulling 7G, the tunnel effect on sight going and returning as you pulled harder on the stick. Drinking our faces off at night in the Mess! Super fun times.

Schönes Video Micke, und lehrreich für IFR! 👍🏼 Schade, habe ich dich auf der AERO nicht gesehen. Dennoch haben wir mit Kollegen alle Flugzeuge am euren Stand in Ruhe angeschaut. Was mir immer gut an Diamond gefällt, ist das ihr euch klar von der Konkurrenz unterscheidet. Fliege weiterhin sehr gern eure Flugzeuge (HK36, DA20, DA40) und vielleicht irgendwann auch mal die MEPs und/oder DA50. Keep up the good work!🤙🏼

@@MickeLang It is still free to choose! I was so far on a place / club that train with a Robin DR400! Old school but not too expensive.
You get in the air for round about 130.- / pure flying time ( taxi time is not charged) Your Diamond DV20 training plane looked good too! What did the hour cost (roughly)? I saw the advantage that modern Garmin avionics were already installed. I think that would be personally advantageous to be confronted directly with Garmin systems?

Nice video, but I have one question: How do you manage that all your GoPros survive the duration of your flights? Since the battery duration is very weak of GoPros. Do you have more external batteries with you and change it when one is empty? :)
Actually on this flight they made it, I was not filming so long. On ferry flights I use our USB ports and have them charging☺️
Is the view on your display that shows the runway exact? I mean.. could you theoretically land with it without looking out the window?
In an emergency and no other airport to go to than the one with no visibility I would use this as a tool yes. But I would not say that it is so accurate like the GS and LOC.

Hi David! Thanks for watching! I have version 2 and they work perfect in the 42. The A20 got a bit more noise cancelling but I take it because I get more space above my head☝🏼
Micke ! Love all your videos, for someone looking to purchase, what is the pros on the da62 compared to the 42 other than the extra seats and engines?
I really want to make sure I don’t buy too much airplane if I don’t need it but at the same time I don’t want to buy to little airplane and regret it

@@MickeLang kommt so super überheblich daher, der Flug nach Friedrichshafen ... Wie jemand der jeden Tag seinen Hausberg Ski fährt. Das Gegenteil ist das Video in der Stearman... Da sieht man den Skischüler... Ist nicht böse gemeint... Etwas mehr a la Guido Warnecke wäre super sympathisch... Flying on the highest level and explaining it to the world!
@@cb1p111 Danke für dein Feedback! Finde ich schade, dass du das so siehst bzw dass es so rüberkommt. Ich möchte nämlich nicht den “Überdrüber” Typen zeigen der glaubt der Coolste zu sein. Mit den Videos versuche ich die schönen Seiten des Fliegens und meine Passion dafür zu zeigen. Könntest du mir vl die Sequenz zeigen, wo du den “Skilehrer” siehst?

@@MickeLang 16:16 bis 16.50...finde ich persönlich in dieser Kategorie Skilehrer. Auch das "Funken" kommt zum Teil so rüber... Nach dem Motto "pseudo schnell und genuschelt" statt sauber artikuliert. ( 17:40) Die Kontollerin in Zürich ist so dermassen perfekt, dass sie dir 180 Fuß über der letzten Höhe den weiteren Decent gibt... Bis du es ausführen kannst, bist du genau 50 Fuß drüber. Bei einer 1000er Staffelung (6000, 5000, 4000) bei knapp über 500 Fuß vom Ziel entfernt einen "further decent" zu requesten ist für mich persönlich "Wichtigtuerei für das Video" und führte prompt zu ihrer Antwort.
All dies zusammen brachte den Eindruck eines "österreichischen Skilehrers", die sich selber auch immer ein wenig zu sehr abfeiern, wie du es bei 16:16 tust ...
Im Vergleich zu anderen... Ich hatte Guido Warnecke genannt... Dann aber so wirken, wie sie es vielleicht gar nicht beabsichtigen. 3:07 bis 3.12...
P. S das Video vom Flug nach Belgien ging in die richtige Richtung... Den Leuten zeigen, wie super airmanship funktioniert... (Knöpfe auf einer Garmin Checkliste müssen nicht im 1/10 sek Takt gedrückt werden... Das beeindruckt niemanden... Checklisten sauber und ruhig abarbeiten (read, call out... bestätigen) das beeindruckt.
Abschließend vielleicht noch folgender Spruch dazu :
Arroganz ist... wenn man denkt, man wäre den anderen überlegen.
Selbstbewusstsein ist... wenn man sich niemandem unterlegen fühlt.
