I hope this franchise gets to be developed by people who are actually interested and people that love it. halo might be in rough times but there is still a strong community. Lovely music btw :)
@@Gr4veM1nd No wait I'm actually curious, what even is your aim with that comment besides being an even whinier little B than the person you're criticizing?
Tge thing is, it is. Whenever people say "we had people who dont like Halo" they're not actually quoting them, but misinforming people. What tgey actually said was that they got people in who usually dont play Halo to bounce new ideas with the majority of the team who liked or knew how to make Halo games. The issue isnt that debs didnt like Halo, as the troubled production of Halo infinite showed them really wanting to make a good Halo game, but upper management stepping in and insiting to make decision that were marketable. Blame the leadership, not the guy who have to keep their jobs.
@@re1010 Valid viewpoint to not place the blame upon the developers for many of the overall production failures, but there is also a valid viewpoint to place blame upon the writers of new Halo material. A lot of people are unhappy with the direction the series went, story-wise. I think that's probably largely the sentiment behind the talk of wishing Halo were in the hands of those who were actually passionate about the original spirit of Halo. It was unsuccessful for reasons besides that as well, like the monetization and limited customization for example, but it wouldn't have fallen off so hard if it hadn't fallen short on every front like it did. Or more broadly, you could also say that saying you wish Halo was developed by people who care about it is a generalized way of expressing wishes it weren't imprisoned in corporate development hell, and instead directed BY the people who care about Halo, and playing Halo.
This is really, really good! Everything about it feels very familiar, but it has just the right amount of new to it that it doesn't make me question why it was even made in the first. This is a very faithful remaining of what this piece could be.
Your orchestrations really bring to life the magic in the original soundtrack that made Halo such an epic experience for so many back in the day, the addition of the choir is especially rad !
Every remake for this song always leaves out the guitar or shoves it in the background when it is a critical part of the song, This is definitely not one of those remakes and you guys definitely blew this out of the water!!
Most of us don't have access to live musicians and it can be very expensive and effect a lot of stuff. I've been waiting on a guitarist for this one since June from last year and the same is happening to a bunch of my other releases so I think it's understandable that a lot of people can't or don't want to deal with that kind of stuff. Even I am operating at a loss with all these tracks.
@ very understandable. My previous comment was not intended to throw hate or anything negative towards any producer, just more so wanted to express my respect for your respect of the original halo scores. Your remakes are among the few that I actually enjoy because of that. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for this track!

I wish people like you would quit whining. Seriously, this is turning into a copypasta now. Stop it.

Holy shit that art goes absurdly hard
2204 is the goat
Shame the music doesn’t match, feels too overdone again

My old halo 2 disc won’t play on my Xbox one. Thinking of getting a refurbished 360 or original to play it.
