Chaos just changing colors is so bad. There is absolutely no chance they plan on leaving it like this. There so much potential for a chaos customization, we’ll see what they have planned long term. This game could be *the* Warhammer experience with more content. Chaos coop, new enemy factions, new story maybe, more pvp content, maybe a pvevp mode if they ever add chaos Pve. Just so much potential, I really hope they don’t waste it.
They have multiple seasons so they will definitely add customization, honestly there isn't much to the gameplay to add, so most they will add will be cosmetics.

I feel like customization took a big step back in general and i hope that they give us that flexibility. I'm not a primaris hater but the old space marine helmet is so iconic, and not having it as on option for loyalist is so sad.
That iron warrior color looks like someone accidentally mixed it up with pre-heresy death guard (dull beige/off-white). Iron warriors have always been a gunmetal color with varying degrees of rust stains.
Wow, huge disappointment that there isn’t much chaos customization. I don’t get why they don’t have different class templates in place of the mastercraft customization for loyalists. Each of these legions have marines of each class for the most part, it’s wild how goofy you’re forced to look if you try to use a different legion for a class than the only one it was designed for.
Personally i hoped they would add the Old armor's helmet, cause i would make my Tactical marine into the Blood raven from Dawn of war 2 As that was the game that introduced me to the franchise.

I do like some of the shoulder pieces but would like if I could add scratches, bullet deformation etc. to the last free pieces since they look so new. Might be coming later since customization is such a large piece of this game, but just a though running through my head
I don’t understand why they can’t make all of the chaos armor they have exchangeable between the classes. Obviously for the sniper cape and the bulwark shield they would need to make new models but wouldn’t it be easier to make class items look like they could be used by any chaos legion? This is the only truly puzzling development decision I’ve seen from this game so far, luckily it seems like it can be remedied.
You say the helmet with the green eyes is available for all the classes , but when you show the tactical helmet it’s not there . Anybody know if it is in fact available for tactical ?
I think that due to how the camo cloak is also wrapped around the head region of the Sniper, it does produce a notable amount of clipping around that region when you equip the class with the Mk 10 helmet, one could argue that a Reivers helmet would've been an easier alternative given how Phobos armor was built specifically for Reivers and other asymmetric warfare roles in mind (even if it would look like a visual overlap between Vanguard and Sniper classes), Eliminators being a substitute for Scouts if I recall until GW decided to course correct and give people rescaled models like they should've done at the first time with 9edition with the reintroduction of both Terminators set to true scale and Scouts in the 10th edition. Ngl tho, the Salamanders color preset feels a bit off, they're missing their signature black helmets, almost look like Dark Angels without em. Personally hope for more of the iconic helmets and armor being added in future updates of the game so we can personalize our characters further more then with just the Mk 10 Tacticus, Phobos and Gravis armor bits respectively. Then i could fully complete the Sternguard Veteran look i'm rooting for. Then at the end, i have to agree, somehow the Iron warriors doesn't look like they're painted in any hue of iron, it indeed looks more yellow then a dark metal grey. And i do hope we could get some cross legion adjustments for the heretic side because unlike the loyalist side who has 3 different types of armor to model around while the heretics all only have one with a couple of bits that are personalized to certain legions, which in contrast could've been handed out in the same manner as the season pass cosmetics will presumably be handled. Only theory to why the options are locked the way they are is because of an internal choice to voice all classes differently and in the case of the heretics, each are tailored to each legion which to the player's perspective could've just been another customizable option for more creative freedom...
Its a shame there are no MkVII or MkVIII helmets for the loyalists. The model of second one already exists in the game, wtf? Also chaos customization is a complete joke. There is definitely a need of more neutral-looking armor sets for chaos armor to avoid "Iron warrior raptor in a suit of Night Lords" situation. Also its funny how the half of chaos weapons are just Primaris guns reskins CSM never had neither in the lore or tabletop. OG game made it far better so far. I hope the future updates will give us some options.
Chaos SM customization is an absolute garbage and spitting in the face of the CSM enjoyers, and as Iron Warriors fan I must say that IW skin is additional spit in my face, it doesnt look like IW at all, it should be (that may be a big suprise for devs) an "Iron" color, but instead we get something that look more like a DeathGuard greenish/yellowish skin.
For some reason they gave this class a default Mk3 power armor straight from Horus Heresy with no sign of corruption lmao. Just look at CSM Havocs miniatures. That is how this guy was supposed to look.
@@dmitrykhvostik5975 thats is actually god for IW, IW are known for being sceptic toward chaos and corruption, they usually dont like corruption signs and tend to remove them and replace with prostetics if needed so uncorrupted IW is actually kind of neat, but of course customization shoild exist so everyone can make corrupted or uncorrupted IW or other csm.
@@KulturystaChaosu Good for IW and Alpha maybe but it makes no sense for everyone else. They really should make chaos classes defaul look more neutral, just like tactical chaos marine currently is so when you paint him in the colors you want, there was no stuff like World Eater raptor with Night Lords bat wings. Or give a proper customisation ofc, where Legion thematic-stuff is optional
I swear we need a warframe style Warhammer 40k MMO. All they have to do is keep the gameplay of this game but slap 40k paraphernalia over warframes off mission hubs. Instead of frames we unlock armors, weapons, and relics. And we could have second founding chapters if we create our own chapters after lvl 25 and become a captain. They could even give us options on staying as a first founding member or create your own second founding chapter with npc members replaced by players once joined. And have a mini game style interface where you send out troops to attack or defend places in your nearby system.
Some complaints: 1:pls make that when you pick salamander chapter it make your character black with red eye 2:even tho yes im dissapointed in the chaos customization (if you can call it that) it would be way less bad if your appearance wasnt decided by youre class like im sry but as a big WE tabletop player I dont wanna play as spiderman
honestly speaking, how the f* did you unlock everything so far???? I received the game yesterday and to unlock some things you need to win 28 matches or so. xD
I only heard good things about the game, but paid skins in a full price game really gives off the wrong vibe, and the colors being locked too is weird af.
I think Chaos customisation will come later either in update or as DLC, also finally a game that doesn’t have any kind of customisation locked behind paywalls, and also really well made
I forsee a lot of dlc/Battlepass releases in the future to make up for all of the missing content. Emperor's Children isnt even acknowledged in this game.
its interesting to me that they dont let you at least swap out the full armour between the chaos classes. It maybe makes sense to not do it for assault because of the jump pack but for the others I'm not sure why they wouldn't have it. I imagine they will do more to it, there were most likely just higher priorities
I don’t like how reflective the armor is. Maybe it’s because the base material is painted so gloss is as shiny as you get in table top but unless you paint it a metal like silver, gold or bronze it should be matte or glossy.
I feel like the heretic colors would work a lot better if the armor could be changed to match the legion. Like the first set with the night lords color, just change it so you can have the wings on the helmet, pauldrons, etc.

I'm hoping it's not too bad to unlock the blood raven chapter in the Co op mode. Has it been said how to unlock chapters yet?
Every time I saw the iron warrior color I was wondering where is the gunmetal black?
How do you unlock the heretic sets?
Its a shame there are no MkVII or MkVIII helmets for the loyalists. The model of second one already exists in the game, wtf?
Also chaos customization is a complete joke. There is definitely a need of more neutral-looking armor sets for chaos armor to avoid "Iron warrior raptor in a suit of Night Lords" situation. Also its funny how the half of chaos weapons are just Primaris guns reskins CSM never had neither in the lore or tabletop.
OG game made it far better so far. I hope the future updates will give us some options.
Why do we not see the CRUX TERMINATUS PULDRON that comes with the MACRAGGS CHOSEN DLC??? I WANT MY TERMINATOR HONOURS PULDRON!
@@dmitrykhvostik5975 But havocs are based more on Alpha legion that Iron Warriors, lore wise Iron Warrior in uncorrupted MKIII is quite correct.
world eaters don't even get a chainsword. what a rip
No face customization? Lmao
I just hope we'll get different power armor patterns, I'd like to see the iconic Mark VII or Mark III. probably my two most favorite
you have no idea how long i've been waiting for this thaaaaank you
Should receive my PS5, which I ordered for this game only (so far). I'm hyped!
On a side note: Say no to woke garbage!
Some complaints:
1:pls make that when you pick salamander chapter it make your character black with red eye
2:even tho yes im dissapointed in the chaos customization (if you can call it that) it would be way less bad if your appearance wasnt decided by youre class like im sry but as a big WE tabletop player I dont wanna play as spiderman
honestly speaking, how the f* did you unlock everything so far????
I received the game yesterday and to unlock some things you need to win 28 matches or so. xD
Obviously you can change the color around and what-not but I’m so disappointed they left out the Emperor’s Children…
I only heard good things about the game, but paid skins in a full price game really gives off the wrong vibe, and the colors being locked too is weird af.
I think Chaos customisation will come later either in update or as DLC, also finally a game that doesn’t have any kind of customisation locked behind paywalls, and also really well made
I bet the first champion skins are going to be Titus' deathwatch kill team dark angels, black templar's, space wolves and blood angels
I have this game. Im just looking at all the stuff i could be getting rn instead of being a productive human.☹
The bulwark isn't gravis, only the heavy is. Bulwark is just tacticus armour that's stylised to look knightly
Chaos customization is really disappointing, night lords color is way off too, nothing "midnight clad" about that light blue
I feel like the heretic colors would work a lot better if the armor could be changed to match the legion. Like the first set with the night lords color, just change it so you can have the wings on the helmet, pauldrons, etc.
Nice pio mio record better
I have hopes they will allow more chaos customization. Changing colors only is bs and they know that
Would like to see faces/heads customization. Maybe down the road, who knows.
Kinda weird there's no Thousand Son customization seeing how they're the man chaos faction antagonists in the campaign.
