- gonna be honest with you chiefs, this series was gold, a shame that it got cancelled and that final still hurts my heart.

The fact that Neil Patrick Harris played Spider-Man once in his life and Rob Zombie even got a role as the Lizard is amazing. Most underrated Spidey show for the Webhead!

One of my favorite versions of Spidey. I love the idea of combining my favorite Spidey comics (Ultimate Spider-Man) with my favorite Spidey films (The Raimi Trilogy) and they executed very well. If I had to nitpick, I think this show should have stuck to the idea of it being an adaptation of the Ultimate comics, therefore they could use more villains without fear that the later films would use them.
Personally it’s my 1st favorite
Sam raimis trilogy is also based on the ultimate comics.
@@Proaz15 I'ed say the Raimi Trilogy adapted the ascetic and feel of the 60's-70's Spidey comics, and took a lot of the plot points, character motivations, and overall structure from the (90's animated series and the Ultimate comics. Essentially it was designed to be a combo of all the well known and loved versions of Spidey.

This show ISN'T for kids
Well it wasn't marketed for kids, but it's not like completely anti-child either.
I saw this series when I was fairly young and I still really liked it; I guess it depends if you're a kid who can understand and appreciate more mature themes, rather than just wacky cartoony shit.
I was a big fan of Mainframe Entertainment growing up, so I watched pretty much all of their shows... their brief take on Spider-Man was glorious, but I just wish it had caught on so we could have gotten more.
This was mostly aimed for young adults and adults I believe, ideally from probably 15 to 20 something ish
My brother and I watched it when we were 5 and 6 lol Remember the max Dillion, Harry girlfriend and the last episodes

I watched it when i was a kid and the final episode legit traumatized me fr. The fact that theres no season 2 made this show even more uncomfortable. Hopefully this Peter will return somehow

even though what we got of him was brief, I was keen on Neil Patrick Harris' take on the wallcrawler
This show was so dark and went so hard.
When I was a kid this version of spider man was pretty average for me. But when I rewatched that later as an adult it was almost 10/10. Pity that this project failed cause it doesn't suite core audience...
