rlly amazing show, it looks kinda dated by now, but the art style was so iconic, gorgeous neo noir colour pallet, bright lights popping against darkness visually very stunning in its slightly uncanniness, such a nostalgic look, no much of it takes place in the dark i really cant get it out of my head even after nearly 20 years lmao, the theme even perfectly encapsulates the feelings of the show, very high octane mysterious and tense, even tho its just a kids show ig, it was just a feast for the eyes

Funny how this series while it didnt have many villains from Spider-Man Lore only a few well known ones, I know they had some easter eggs to the original lineup for villains that he fought, did anyone notice in the episode with the Pteradaxes(jetpack guys) that one of the henchmen was named Aleksi? That was the alias for Rhino in the original lineup
I was born in 2007 yet despite all the other Spider-Man media out in 2023 I decided to watch this show because of its creativity when it comes to lightning and action

It's cause this was one of the only spider man shows that was actually dark and involve really depressing events,not including movies, (and yes I know other Spider-Man shows can be considered dark but they always had a humorous tone) but in this one you can see Parker fall apart all the way through until he makes his final mistake even if he didn't mean it

I can’t remember much about the show but I can remember that the show was a bit more on the dark side of things or something, which is honestly fitting. In fact I can’t even remember if Peter was cracking any jokes or not, but either way a dark and more mature spider-man is definitely fitting considering how Pete’s life is

they stopped it cos it was a continuation to Spider-Man 1, so if they didn't stop it Spider-Man 2 and 3 could not be created
