Having broths on the shelf is comforting can whip up a meal or a pan of gravy in a blink. Moose bone broth is special unlike commercial cow they are wild and have so many good nutrients that the other animals don't. Really doing well on your home stead. Blessing to you and yours on this holiday. He is risen, that's the good news😊. God bless

Happy Holidays! The flavor of it is so much richer and earthy if that even makes sense to anyone who has never had it. It’s deep in flavor.

So happy to see you freeze drying some of your eggs, it’s a nice way to preserve them for long term. I Have a med dryer and can only do 12 eggs a tray, it’s nice you could do 18 a tray. The bone broth and potatoes turned out wonderful. I now know what I did wrong on my canned potatoes. I didn’t blanch them and now they are in a thick looking jell in the jars. It’s OK though I just rinse them before I fry them, but yours look so much better. Tell Aaron he is hired as a bacon smoker, it always looks so good. Have a Blessed Day.

Hi Jessica, Aaron and sweet family, I hope you all had a very Blessed Easter!
Good job on preserving. Jessica, the that broth looks so dark and flavorful.
Aaron, you really make me miss real home cured bacon. It’s so much better than any store bought bacon.
    Have a blessed day everyone!

Have enjoyed spending a part of my Easter Sunday afternoon with you and Aaron. Sitting in my lift chair lounger and eating Chinese. Nothing says Easter like an egg roll.
This has been a prolonged season of questionable health. Love you. Until our next visit. ❤Momma G

Just a hint. Add some white vinegar to the canner water when canning. Keeps the lime
From the hard water turning your jars white. Hint from central Indiana.

Pouring a few glugs of white vinegar into the water before canning will prevent the mineral buildup on the outside of your jars.

We away keep potatoes 🥔 until the new one are ready to eat. Go through them alot in the root cellar. We would put 30 bushels a year. took from them to plant.

Happy Easter, Jess! I just finished 7qts and 3 pts of potatoes at my house. Beets tomorrow, and some quick breads. Been busy gearing up for spring. Working on the freezer next! Great that your girls are working for you. Would love to see you make something with those eggs, like baking or something. I'm saving up for a freeze dryer. May take awhile... but eventually, I'll get one. Take good care! 😊💜🐰

So much awesome preserving!! I, too, need to go through my freezer and do something with my beef and chicken. I have yet to can any meat, but I know I need to take the plunge. Aaron's smoked bacon looked fantastic! Farm fresh breakfast is so awesome! Your broth looks so good. God bless you all!

It eats the inside of the canner over time by pushing it into the metal high heat high pressures. So I just opt to do it after. I realized even with it in the canner I end up whipping the jars no matter what. Might as well save the canner and clean the jars I’m going to clean any way after.
