@ JesterBushcraft..the rolled up foil acts as a regulator..it lets the heat spread more evenly around the baked goods..if you dont put something down there ....then it will burn pretty bad and usualy add that burnt taste to the finished product...the foil is easy to pack and serves many uses..and in this " heat coil" it makes baking easier...thanks for the comment..safe journeys
i wouldn't cook plastic bags into my food. would rather have to cleen the pot. harder to cleen the plastic out of my liver. same goes for alluminum foil. & heeting alluminum creates poison gas. is convenience really worth that?

Cutting the slot in the wind shield is the best mod for this stove. Did it on mine, super job, no more roasting handle. Thanks for sharing.

Great info. Really liked your mod with the aluminum foil coil for baking.
I did the mod to my Trangia after seeing yours . It really works.
Thanks Blackie.
excellent vid love the foil baking mod especially, BTW just snuff with upside down lid to not risk o ring loss.

Great Mods!! Just love it!
Wish I had seen this video earlier. Great info.
I would like to ask why you put the rolled up foil in the bottom of the can. before lining the can with more foil ?
i cut the bottom of a pop can to extinguish the flame you may forget the o ring
Great video, got one of these stoves yesterday, a fine piece of kit. Thanks for sharing your modifications. Thanks, Andy
