After spewing through several Google Classroom videos, your is the first that I was able to sit through without being frustrated....I am a Resource Center Teacher (Grades 1/2) who before this "Hot Mess" occurred was working with students (in person) and the work was assigning/ working with "Ditto Sheets"....the district wasn't at a 1:1 ratio with computers and I needed "Paper" evidence from my students for their IEP'S....everything worked out....NOW....I am chasing after my students via text, telephone, Google Meet, in short ....I am "POLICING MY STUDENTS".... and to add to my Nightmare my Boss wants me to have a Google Classroom with certain postings....my Boss (Who I Love dearly) gave me a "One on One" but I am slow to adapt at it....I am also pessimistic about my students transitioning as I have seen my second graders get lost clicking on the wrong assignment through my classroom teachers Google Classroom, I can only imagine what the first grade is going to do. She wants schedule grids and stuff in the room....I've been teaching for over 20 years, so technology is intimidating....Aside from my boss helping my for an 1.5 hours ( and I am GREATFUL), I have had "ZERO" training on Google Classroom....and I am a person who likes to ask questions, and since Google's idea of answering questions is a FAQ page and DO NOT BELIEVE in human interaction, that doesn't "Bode Well" with me....I am going to look at your next video....wish me luck!!!!

This seems very similar to a software that I know most are familiar with, which is called Blackboard. But I like how this seems more easy to use. Blackboard can get very confusing , but I can see this getting confusing too because each year/semester you would have to relearn blackboard because it would be a new teacher, which means a new format. @@jacquieng I have used it for writing assignments and quizzes. I really like grading writing in Google classroom because I didn't have to carry home all that paper.

Alyson Serena Stone great point! Many teachers forget this fact. If you’re a teacher who doesn’t give homework (like me), Google Classroom is a great tool for in-school use.

Just use the settings (cog wheel below the video) and change playback speed to 0.75 (or do custom 0.85 is nice)
