You should watch this anime because in my opinion, this is the best sports anime, especially the basketball one which is my favorite sport. The storyline and the animation is one of the bests.
4:42 one thing i love in both haikyuu and KnB, and most sports anime for that matter, is that the side characters actually DO play significant roles most of the time! not everyone ofc, since that'd be way too many to fit into a series usually, but even if they don't get major screentime or dialogue, they'll get enough that you can get a pretty nice grasp on their personality & grow attached to them :) 14:13 fun fact, this OP was sung by Kuroko's voice actor! gotta say, some of your observations are surprisingly spot on! i say surprising bc not a lot of reactors pick up on the things you did, it's neat! also, as you already kinda figured out, kuroko no basket is basically basketball but with superpowers. it's not AS extreme, but definitely over the top & many of the things you see in this one aren't things you'd see real highschoolers do. still, it does have a good amount of realism to it, so it's a fun combination loved the reaction, hope you're having a nice day
Kuroko was a sixth man but in high school he became a starting player who playmakes. He doesn’t shoot or dribble but he changes while playing in high school. He realizes his weakness and tries to grow in many ways
Kuroko no Basket [without spoilers a little info] First thing first this show has no super powers its plane basket ball BUT some people are like special talented at certain things of how they do it . A lot of these talents are actually just small things but anime makes them feel way more epic . For example you know how in certain times in life there are like 10 people in the room but 1 will be so quit and in corner that you will think its actually only 9 people present in the room until the 10th person does something to reveal himself well that is basically Kuroko himself in this case . Kuroko calls himself "Shadow" because he acts like that on the court too . As I said this anime brings small talents and make them epic that's what Kuroko does being a literal invisible man on the court . Literally nobody knows about his existence on the court until he just casually just comes out of no where and just slaps the ball to his teamates . He doesn't score at all but you will be in between your momentum and suddenly the ball which was passed to you is now in your opponents hand and you would not even no how . Now the main story follows as in middle high school basketball 5 people of this one school were called "Generation of Miracles" these five go their own seperate ways in different High Schools and it was said that out of these 5 , one will certainly become number 1 in Japan . But here is a twist no body knew there was actually one more member of Generation of Miracles called "The Phantom Sixth Player" but nobody knew about his existence and from here the story begins . This is a worth watching show . I usually myself am not into sports anime but this and Haikyuu took my interest . The one major difference between this show and Haikyuu is that this show just doesn't waste time , like I mean if there is a training arc it will only be one episode long and we will be back against other players and the side teams will not have a long match done against them and we will be always focusing matches between heavy players . Meanwhile in Haikyuu training arc are a bit longer and side practice matches or side team battles are also longer but its not that bad .
Loved the reaction bro! But the "regular" coloured hair guys in the show have a very important role the more you watch. Everyone gets their highlight, and that's what i love about the show!
I honestly never expected you to get the backstory of them all being on the same team in Middle School. You're really good at breaking down the openings
Honestly, I hope you react to this anime one day. This anime literally inspired me to play basketball! And also I really like you get the point of the anime, some people complain about it not being realistic, but that's what makes it fun! You see things you wouldn't normally see in reality!
i think that the author made the other seirin members visually so lackluster so they can be a self insert for the viewer and they did a good Job with that tbh.
have you stopped reacting? (If you have stopped because of copyright issues I can help you with that I am kinda experienced with stuff like that, also I really loved your reactions you have great Charisma!)
Good reaction! Man you're so smart you figure out everything even the thing which was impossible to notice! If loved this few moves you should definitely watch the anime. Its exaggerated but damn its really good and entertaining. I highly recommend it to react to it, i would love to see your reaction. Give it a try and you won't regret it. Animation, plot, characters everything is 10/10! So yeah!
Btw man Japanese basketball is not simple basketball, what you see in anime actually happens in their actual game like it's crazy to think about it, American ballers dunk too and it's just so common in high school, Japan and China have different level of basketball compared to other Asian countries.
yeah, it's like the highschool coach is going crazy and try to combine normal basketball with street basketball in highschool basketball training.. that's what happen in Japan basketball.. also, I've seen some player didn't even talk during the game like they are literally in the zone..
The crazy part about Kuroko no basket is that this anime is 10 years old. The animation from season 2 is still really good in 2023
You're really good in analyzing the openings. You almost got the whole plot 😮
U got that right

This anime is old, but damn the animation still holds even now
I was a manga reader, so seeing the episodes get animated while reading was very fun. Plus the music is so good.

There are 20 characters in the show that could solo any nba team you could possibly make, that’s how exaggerated the abilities are
You should react to the first episode of Kuroko’s basketball
