Great video, buddy. My late father in law had a '97 BMW 7 series that my sister in law and her husband acquired. When I'm visiting again, I want to fix their passenger door handle that is broken. Right now, you can't get out of the passenger seat until someone comes around and opens the door from the outside. Thanks to your video, I think it will be fairly easy to fix this! The puddle light should be removed from one end, not the sides, as there are hooks at the other end which you dont want to break off. A plastic pry tool should be used, not metal. The panel does not come off as easily as shown - there are 2 large non visible clips in the central area of the card, which require a serious pull to release. The top edge also has to be eased out gently from under the silver strip - place a box below the door to support the card whilst removing the electrical connectors. Remove the silver strip - replace this after the card has been re installed.
Needing to remove my drivers door panel and replace glass on my 01 sport, so there’s really only one screw at the door handle and clips all around that hold the whole panel on? No other bigger bolt that supports the door big handle when closing the door?

@@ARPerez the plastic/leather brown piece that goes underneath the chrome part along the length of the window sill. Thanks for responding! I have a 98 e38 btw.
I would also recommend removing the cover with plastic equipment and not using steel to avoid scratches.

The plastic piece that runs up and down the door jamb or the chrome piece that runs along the length of the window sill?
