Aside from two grab supers, Hyde's Gyre Vortex weirdly hit me out of stance once in testing. Carmine's IW also spawns some crystals at his feet that also apparently hit low.

That’d explain the lack thereof. Though, now I wonder how many other shield characters are there in FGs, actually?

- Most Mobile Suits in the Gundam franchise have a shield and the various old Gundam Fighting games tend to reflect this
-If you count the Gundam Vs series as a fighting game, then there's a lot to pick from, but the ones that tend to be a bit more "involved" in their shield usage are units like: Full Armor Gundam (Thunderbolt ver.) GP02 Physalis(Stardust Memory), Khimaris Trooper/Khimaris Vidar(Iron-Blooded Orphans), and Hyperion Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Stargazer) off the top of my head. Def missing a few.

As you mentioned in the description that Carmine's IW sometimes connected, it's because the bloodspikes that appear on the ground around his have hitboxes and counts as lows.
Tsurugi does a better job than Mash lmao
