Always good to hear the seagulls 😊
Lovey bike 🏍 ride 😊
That house and garden with the plants I used to gym with him. Used to be a Goalkeeper for Blackpool FC in the 70's.
When we were growing up in the 70”s Hornsby Rd was quite plush. Where you crossed at the junction with the college that used to be the Catering college and the flats across the road were one the prestigious “ Courtfield” which was silver service and the catering done by the college students including me. Central Dive was also lovely back in the day but now it’s only fit for the bulldozer…
Great to see Courtfield getting a mention. Gone but not forgotten.❤. Was there in 1965.👌
@@jackymitchell8487 I still have my chefs uniform and books in the loft, I still use my knives today. I was there in 1987 x
Cor bloody hell mate what would i do without your vids in London aint been Blackpool for about 30 odd years, love sitting in bed watching them and not moving feel like im there cheers stay dafe
I went to tyldesley school on beech avenue, we moved from the old tyldesley school on condor grove, must of been about 1970 when they took over what was then the girls collegiate school on beech avenue, lots of good memories 👍
🤩 Hiya Steve, there's some lovely houses in Blackpool on your blog tonight, I'd love to go back to 1923, to see what the streets looked like back then, & to look inside of them. Beautiful. Can't understand why people are on the streets living. Great video as always. Blackpool looks lovely today, the weather that is. 😉
Loved the Mecca on central drive ...did a few nighters there used to be loads if cafes open for breakfast ,, sill love Blackpool ❤
Sounds great!
Hi ...just got back home from coach trip to Blackpool..
Called for 2 of your calendars from £1 burger ....also bought a burger....great calender...❤
Thank you Margaret 🙏🙏🙏
Steven, you did another great job, thanks they are amazing x
Great Video Steve What A Contrast 😊
Another interesting video Steve, the council should do more to encourage people to buy and renovate those lovely old houses like that lovely red brick building that was once belong to the council. Far too many derelict buildings in Blackpool!
Makes me reminisce on living in Blackpool
Great bike ride, Stephen, thank you. Some beautiful houses in North Park Drive and some nice cars!😊
Thanks Sheila.
Its absolutely devastating that all these old guest houses are just being abandoned mate and that was Blackpool’s heritage and history!
Unfortunately cheap foreign holidays came along. Some might have longterm residents and weekenders come for the lights. Gone are the days of the tough landlady chucking people out after breakfast!
Bet there getting shut of millions of bugs
Hi Stephen, as soon as you said Hornby Road it rang a bell 🔔
Then you cycled past ‘ Come Ye In’ guest house 15:07 and I’d forgotten i had stayed there years ago 😂 Thanks for the memory!!
Love your videos, I usually binge watch them when I’m off work,
I adore Blackpool ❤
Glad you like the videos!
Went to £1 burger to day with my son got your calendar really good shots of Blackpool well worth the money 👍
Thanks very much 🙏
It's all kicking off in leafy Blackpool 😂
thanks Stephen for another great video of my favorite place 🗼
Ooooh. Going off in Blackpool. Very green and Stanley park looks beautiful. Never as yet visited it. Very pleased to see lots of trees and. Greenery at some areas, not others. Some gorgeous large houses around there. Some lovely shaped topiary style bushes. It’s a change of two worlds just by going further down a long road isn’t it Stephen ? Love that seeing Blackpool tower just peeking out. Follows all around and depending where are ! Love seeing the like palm trees and tropical style greenery. Yeah can see comparison from leafy to concrete jungle and very sad. Shops and buildings boarded up, sign of the times. Some the bigger boarded up buildings are fantastic architectural design from previous years. Thoroughly enjoyed this video Stephen as always, Mr. Legend eh !!! takecare. Di xxxx
No brothels, no beer monsters but loads of WOWZERS 😢
Hi Steven I like watching your videos every day from London with is very nice to see I've been to Blackpool for this summer line enjoys myself in black pool it's getting very cold now outside
Used to love the shops on central drive it took us hours because all the shops were great and the george hotel was always very busy now gone i think we had the best years in Blackpool
Hi Stephen this is another great video, take care on these walks.
Thanks Nigel 👍
Central drive is the best street in blackpool with kent road coming a very close second. I was in awe of the carefree way of life on those streets. I could only dream of being in that position.
Great video Stephen I always stay on hornby road at joilles hotel on hornby road I can't wait for next video I hope you and your family and friends are well and safe
Thanks Wayne 👍
Grew up on Grange Park until I move in 2012 only been back a hand full of times as family still live there. It was rough way back when but thought it had changed since. I know it's changed in appearance. Love watching your videos fills me with nostalgia.
I did a drive around on Grange Park last week & hope to make a video out of it.
I went to Tyldesley school and have many memories both good and bad. Tyldesley on Beech avenue was for the final 2 years of high school the first 3 years was on Condor grove.
I went to Tyldesley for some lessons after my school, Palatine on St Annes Road merged in about 1983.
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpoolI left in 78, Beech avenue was known as the upper school and Condor grove was the lower school and was originally a girls school
Love the way your mate is right on cue with his van 😂 nice one it's kicking off...
🤣🤣🤣
Really enjoyed your bike ride from North Park drive to central drive the difference is unbelievable its a shame seeing those lovely big houses left to get run down Steven
Another interesting and informative video from Blackpools best vlogger! keep it up Stephen! top man!
Thank you Sir!
Hope everyone enjoyed Halloween.. nice houses 👍
Great to see the other parts of Blackpool. Enjoyed the vid
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent 🐿🐿🐿🐘
Thanks 👍
Love these vlogs, but those wheelie bins .😱 That's the one thing that stands out every time I visit, and that's all those wheelie bins outside these flats/HMOs.
They'd be better off with sharing a dumpster, rather than having all those bins.
Very interesting Steve 👌 👍
We stayed in the strides hotel Hornby road very clean and tidy and good food
The hilarious scouse cabbie youtuber known as 'Kev's cab' is posting videos from Blackpool from Friday to Sunday..These should be a right old scream and well worth watching,Stephen.
great video again thank you gaffa
My sister in law had a guesthouse on, I think, Hull road(?) The Willowbrook it was called.
My grandmas parents ran a boarding house on Hornsby Road between about 1920 and 1945. My dad had told me interesting and humorous stories of life in a Blackpool boarding house.
Haha, I can imagine how interesting and funny the stories were!
This is what I like about your videos everyone thinks Blackpool is a massive shithole but move away from the touristy parts& you see a completely different side to the town 👍🤣
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always ive stayed at the moorfield on Hornby Road yes such a shame on the state of some of the buildings up where the park is is really lovely love Stanley park have a great evening xx
Loved the video steve.
Another informative video Stephen, were you on your new gift? It's such a shame to see those absolutely beautiful buildings being taken over and turned to flats etc.
I can remember our taxi driver in the 80’s asking if we’d like to go look round all the swanky houses… I can’t remember all the stars houses but I think one was Bobby Davros on a very nice ave somewhere in St Annes ((keep up the good work)) 👍
Great ride a round Stephen, looked a nice day too. Take care 😊
Thanks Hazel.
Have stayed in a flat at 69 Hornby Road on a number of times. Nice flat pity about that local scenery.
Hi Stephen
Good video 📹 👍
(Once again i enjoyed your vidio thanks Stephen
Evenin lovely properties I bet they cost a fortune sad there’s so many empty places thought you would of ended up in Cookson Street 😂😂 till the next one 😊
Central Drive has a great view of the tower. Spend a few million and it could be quite trendy??
So sad to see such beautiful buildings rot away.
Drove into Blackpool last week but couldn't find how to get to the central drive as new roads brought us to a carpark and the roundabout blocked off Last time I was there I thought I would get on Central Drive straight on this road
Where you ended your tour in Central Drive I always remember going past the unit that had an auction of some kind going on. I always wonder what sort of crap they ended up buying 😂.
I once got our work van and high trailer(cage) stuck under the height barrier in the car park opposite. I had to let the tyres down to remove it!!
I remember the mock auctions too. There was one next to the Castle pub for a while.
Blackpool seems to love multistory car parks so it’s surprising that the hospital doesn’t have one too.
It does.
The hospital does have a multi story. I did a video round there in spring last year.
Are u doing through the keyhole
These hoises ideal for bigger families old people tend tp downsize
That.old miners place on north shore good
Did that BMW Z4 go past rather close?
Less than 2 metres.
every video you do a cop car or van come though with its lights on thay must know when u do ur videos and follow you nice video as all ways and thank you.
You'd think I waited for some sirens before starting lol.
Hello Steve how are you love your vidio our Beechfield hotel is there were me and our Elaine are hoping to stay next Tuesday the fourteenth of November to the fifteenth of November we are coming down to see friends and iumations I have never been to Blackpool magic in November its something different for us best wishes take care stay safe xx
They just follow you around
That's one reason why I would not want to live near a hospital. Emergency services sirens all day.
How do locals feel about the tourist side of Blackpool. Do they deliberately avoid it, or enjoy it? I’ve often wondered.
I think most locals do appreciate the tourist side.
Hi I went to the school they not down.
Same here when it merged with the school I went to, Palatine.
The road literally goes from upper/middle class, to working class, to lower class, to complete poverty. O_o
All without turning a corner.
What a contrast between North Park Drive and Central Drive it’s quite depressing to see all those properties derelict or in a state of disrepair. When are they going to demolish the old police station? You couldn’t put money on it the start of the video and the “it’s all kicking off in Blackpool” sirens!
Just goes to show you can be surprised where it will kick off in Blackpool!
Good quality vids , you could say of this vid it reflects a journey of a glimpse of Eden to the sad pathetic failure of modernism ; enjoyed it .
😅
Everytime you film, the police are there. :-)
I seem to start trouble 👮♀️
Blackpool def went down after the death of leroy
I blame netanyahu
And not putting coins to operate the tv
Locals use arcade club or get into fights and get stabbed tp death
The feral kids on the bus and trams
Get judge dredd in
I hate ivy. my garden full of it. can not get rid of it
I like ivy to some extent, but I would prefer to have Virginia Creeper as it's much easier to control.
334k this weekend is the shut down burger man closed til march tower seems to be shut and tussauds
The christmas village
Blackpool too much death from drugs and alc and fights
Just be aware of scenarios if u know its bad leave
Too many people have headphones on as well not good
Weekends busy if its dead in week do they need the illuminations on
old bill.
HEY STEPHEN I WAS JUST CHECKING OUT 1950S STYLE B N BS AND LOOKING AT WHAT BLACKPOOL WAS LIKE 60 YEARS AGO WHEN I FOUND YOU LOOKING ATVTHE POSH END SO IM WATCHING THIS NOW CHEERS DAVID CROMER 😁🚍💥⚽🥅🥊🧋
