I was randomly recommended this channel, I'm not even an after effects user but now i'm thinking i'm missing out. I've been learning DaVinci Fusion instead and seeing this channel and the whole workflow will help me get a waaay better understanding. Subscribed to both of your channels but i'm super hyped for this one as workflows are just as important. Gonna go through these videos, they're worth it. Thank you for making these man, appreciate it
Thanks Athar. No idea why youtube's algorithms have picked this one up, as it's blown up in last week. You HAVE to let me know if you start using After Effects. Will be absolutely thrilled to have inspired you (and I'll run straight to Adobe asking for a cut of your subsciption)
@@thevideoshoplongplay Yeah, UA-cam's Algorithm is random af haha. Yeah i'll definitely let you know if i do end up using it, i mean i might have used it years ago but i just couldn't get myself to get into it. Later this year i switched from premiere to Davinci (best decision ever tbh) but it's lacking motion graphics related tutorials, i mean it still does have tons but not as much as after effects does, i love the nodes based editing way more than layers based, i'm just more comfortable with that but your whole workflow has inspired me a lot and i can't wait to go throguh this, i'm pretty sure i'mma yeet after effects very soon, i saw other videos of yours and they're crazy. keep it up my man
wouldnt it be easier to make the illustrations on illustrator before turning to animating. i usually make my frames on photoshop/ illustrator depending on the need. i can directly drag the file into ae with separated layers and all
Oh yeah totally. It depends on how you like to work. Your way is probably best for most people, however I'm quicker in After Effects. Horses for courses really
Hello, I enjoyed the process of making motion graphics! When you're making a full-length video like 40 seconds or 1 minute, would it be better to separate and combine the cuts or make all the scenes at once? I wonder which way is more efficient!
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "make all the scenes at once" but I certainly wouldn't try to do a minute long animation as all one shot (or comp). We're used to cuts in TV and films so it's definitely something you should think about in motion design. I'd definitel break a 40-60 animation down into manageable shots/scenes to save my sanity
Thank you, I'm completely new to the editing world and i found this really helpful. Also i wanted to ask, I'm struggling to find resources for pictures and videos. Is it acceptable to directly choose images from Google, or should I ensure that they are free to use? I know most resources are protected by copyright laws but is it okay if I used them and added my touch to change on it
For people like me whose already advanced in after effects, this is like a tutorial for me. Great work man!!!!!!!
Thank you sir!
True
You are an absolute gem please don't stop making such content, you have a fan looking forward to more videos!! This is absolute legendary work.
So glad I was recommended this.
Thanks for watching : )

@@AtharBangash You could also do a Davinci + After Effects workflow!
Inspirational video; makes me want to get off UA-cam and get on with a project I’ve got to finish (after watching these, of course!)
I always get inspired by other people's workflow vids. And find it equally hard to drag myself off youtube and actually do the work

That would depend if I'm answering as Stantz or Venkman. Let's be immodest and go with Venkman

Please tell us the specs of your pc
how much specs of your computer? desktop or laptop?
Desktop PC and not very impressive specs honestly. You don't need a powerful computer for this kind of animation
@@thevideoshoplongplay please tell us the specs
Final result ?! Why didn't you put that?
It's at the end of part 2: ua-cam.com/video/_0HzzENGPqA/v-deo.html
