I received my pressure washer ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP over the weekend and decided to wait for the sun to come out before firing it up. Was needed to clean the deck. Our last pressure washer broke a couple of seasons ago, and I just hadn't replaced it yet. This one had great comments, so here we are. It was easy to assemble, and the trigger wand is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time. The pressure washer worked great and made quick work of the "TN North side algae" that inevitably grows every year. I also washed all of the deck furniture while I was at it... it all looks great! So far I am happy with this purchase. I plan to climb the ladder to wash siding over the next couple of days, will update if I have anything else to add after that!
I’ve had the K7 Full Control Plus for around a year now and I love it. I use it every weekend and it never fails to impress me. I instantly bought a stubby gun so the lance quality has never bothered me personally
I've been using and abusing my K7 compact for 3 years now and I love it. With that said...the only thing original on it, is the pump thing. I built a small hidden washing station around it for ridiculously fast and easy washes.
Great video Dave , i went for a K5 compact last year at a bargain £190 and I really can't fault it for the price . I replaced the lance and hose with a Direct Hoses 15m reel and stubby gun for less than £100 .
After the video and your presentation of the ‘PRo’s and Con’s’ I’d buy the compact. Makes more sense and no time wasting trying to access your phone with wet gloves etc. Great video. 👍🏼😎
Very Good review, the light weight one is good value and ideal for mobile work my 7125 is heavy for mobile use but can't fault its cleaning power. Nice one Dave will be useful info for many that are new to detailing.
Great video Dave ,good insight into the K7 , the problem with it is ! The price of the smart control , it is nearly in the Kranzle price range .The compact would be the machine i would buy ,simple and no flashy things to go wrong. I had the smaller K4 with the same lance for 3 years and the lance never broke. The only reason I had to replace it after 3 years is because I left it in the van during freezing weather and that blew the seals.
Great review of the k7 dave, I would get the compact one why waste extra money when there's no need to, I was in my local hardware shop and I saw they sell kranzle washers so when my k2 packs up I think I'll invest in one 👍👍👍

New to your channel and loving the in depth videos. I recently upgraded from the 5 to the 7 including all the bells and whistles at a tasty delivered price of £382. I personally find the app to be an awesome tool when you swap out that standard Lance for the stubby gun. Also found that when you use a foam cannon and then select detergent like you should when or if using the plug-in patio bottles to the machine you get a fantastic consistency of product. What were your thoughts on the boost function? The hose this time round appears to be much more user friendly opposed to the 5 which was just horrendous. Question I have is having now seen many people do this why the jump from the K7 to the AVA equivalent? You see many people complaining about their karchers going wrong but I see roughly 90% of that being purely user error.
I ended up taking karcher parts off mine like that lance and hose and went custom when I had one. I explain the things going wrong and to be honest it's down to the volume of sales. What's your thoughts on kranzel 1050 TS , would you recommend it over Kartcher or nilfisk if I'm interested in reliability and quality? Appreciate your opinion on this.
Well I think it is better to avoid Karcher in whole since they break very frequently. And the K7 starts to leak after two years like all other Karchers. So today I finally ordered my Kranzle pressure washer for car detailing.
Hi.., thanks , I found this model (K7 Premium Smart Control Home) and (HD 5/12c Plus) and they are selled at the same price£ (473.01£), which one you recommend?. I highly appreciate your professional opinions. Thanks.
5/12 for reliability, or k7 for cheaper parts. Tough one really as the 5/12 will cost fair amount of money to upgrade lance as it has easylock fittings
It's a funny one because I used it on my last video and it performed pretty well. It's amazing how different foams work better or worse with different cannons

Hi Rob sadly the figures karcher put on the box may not entirely be true. Personally I'd go for nilfisk over karcher or better still an Ava pressure washer 👌
Excellent review! I've been using the K7 full control for the past few years detailing my car with any issue but the stock snow cannon. Eventually I bought the MJJC pro v2 and I love it. In which of the 3 modes would you suggest using it for better foam when applying the snow cannon?

If your looking at a k7 then you've got enough cash to buy a kranzle or karcher pro model. I'd probably go for the nilfisk P180 as its £400. The K7 is too heavy for my as I need to lift my K4 up and down stairs, so no good for me. Also that bluetooth lance, nope. If I got an outlet deal on a K7 compact I could be tempted, but the Nilfisk would be at the top of my list.
So would you say out of all the consumer karchers this is the best one, in terms of durability and power? It’s not for a business but just personal use.
Brilliant review lad. Great work 👌👏 I recently purchased the k7 compact and I'm loving it, it's so handy and powerful. Small problem though, when I connect my foam gun water pisses out from the connection, like there is way too much pressure. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The only way you can turn the pressure down is on the end part of the original lance which you have to remove to connect the foam gun. Any ideas???
@@epicautomotivedetailing its a cheap one I got on amazon. I got it a couple of years ago thinking it wouldn't be any good but it turned out to be very good. It works fine on my older alot less powered pressure washer. I probably just need to upgrade my foam gun I suppose?
@@epicautomotivedetailing cheers man but I'm not on Instagram. I also live in an apartment and wash my car at my parents house at the weekend. Very big thanks for the offer. 🤙👍
Thanks for the great review, I just think this is too much to pay - I did see it on karcher outlet for £340 which is maybe better value - but I still think Nilfisk is more robust and reliable
@@epicautomotivedetailing is that a ‘D’? - will be interesting to see how it compares as I think it is going to be a lot better for a much more reasonable price
If Karcher (or any other brand) does not use standard M22x14mm connections I can’t recommend it to anyone. Proprietary connections are an instant avoid.
the k7 compact has a 3000W motor, and puts out 180bar at 600Litres per hour, where the more expensive one only has a 2800W motor, only puts out 150bar pressure at normal operation and 'up to' 180 bar but only whilst the boost function is enabled (which is time limited to a few seconds - presumably so the motor doesnt burn out), and the premium one only puts out 550 litres per hour. so, you're literally getting a worse machine, with a fancy bluetooth lance that will just break as soon as you try change the pressure whilst pulling the trigger and not get a free replacement as "you should have read the user manual".
Did you know that karcher test their own pressure using their own machines? They also get the bar readings from the initial first millisecond where the water shoots out. All those numbers from karcher are not true but they get away with it due to their own loopholes. Unlike nilfisk and kranzle who test fairly
@@epicautomotivedetailing mate i nearly bought a k7 but now tempted by the AVA P80, looks like its basically same spec as an xpert 7125 but with a 20year warranty…
@@epicautomotivedetailing The first initial bar reading is the maximum for the pump, and most manufacturers mention this max number, but they also mention the operating pressure which is the prrssure level when you are actually using the lance and its always a fair bit less. Here in Australia the K7 is 180bar max, but its operating pressure is 130bar a big difference, in europe the same K7 is 150bar operating pressure and same max pressure.
Would you pay £200 extra for the larger machine? Let me know in the comments ⬇️

The k7 compact or the premium plus? As the price is only £80 difference today
Neither, Go for Nilisk P180 it beats it hands down
Does the compact still have the 10m hose?
Not sure mate. They have a new commercial machine out now thats cheaper
Nice review 👍
Thanks Adam :)
So would you say out of all the consumer karchers this is the best one, in terms of durability and power? It’s not for a business but just personal use.
For personal the nilfisk p180 is better in every single way. Hands down go for that

Hhhhhhh
Brilliant review lad. Great work 👌👏
I recently purchased the k7 compact and I'm loving it, it's so handy and powerful. Small problem though, when I connect my foam gun water pisses out from the connection, like there is way too much pressure. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The only way you can turn the pressure down is on the end part of the original lance which you have to remove to connect the foam gun. Any ideas???
Hi Tony I see. What foam gun have you got?
@@epicautomotivedetailing its a cheap one I got on amazon. I got it a couple of years ago thinking it wouldn't be any good but it turned out to be very good. It works fine on my older alot less powered pressure washer. I probably just need to upgrade my foam gun I suppose?
@@tonyosullivan2382 if you're on Instagram tag me and I'll try have a look my friend
Yep nilfisk all the way i got 140 next month fingers crossed
@@epicautomotivedetailing is that a ‘D’? - will be interesting to see how it compares as I think it is going to be a lot better for a much more reasonable price
You forgot to mention that the K7 can take hot water up to 60C.
If anyone wants to clean with hot water.
Thank you for sharing! :)
Can't find ur karcher expert video
Got a bigger video coming featuring it and loads other machines
Medium range - Karcher K4 Premium Power Control
Got new k4 being tested next month
Should have done a kranzle v karcher shoot out
Coming soon. already in the works. Won't be a difficult decision lol
If Karcher (or any other brand) does not use standard M22x14mm connections I can’t recommend it to anyone. Proprietary connections are an instant avoid.
Compact all the way when my k2 packs up...........the Italy 🇮🇹 joke.....to soon pal,to soon 🥺😭.........🤣😂🤣👍
I can't go back now lol 😅
Torn between a k7 and a Ava p80 .
Nilfisk P180 is better than both
@@epicautomotivedetailing is the Nilfisk p200 even better ?
Can't believe you didn't mention the pressure and flow rate 🤷🏻♂️
I can't believe you didn't Google it
Men ....you need pronano for heavy jobs .....🙃🙂they are awesome the best ones ......pro products...👍
Thanks for watching :)
Good review but I think I’ll stick with my Nilfisk Core 140.
Excellent machine the 140 👌
the k7 compact has a 3000W motor, and puts out 180bar at 600Litres per hour, where the more expensive one only has a 2800W motor, only puts out 150bar pressure at normal operation and 'up to' 180 bar but only whilst the boost function is enabled (which is time limited to a few seconds - presumably so the motor doesnt burn out), and the premium one only puts out 550 litres per hour.
so, you're literally getting a worse machine, with a fancy bluetooth lance that will just break as soon as you try change the pressure whilst pulling the trigger and not get a free replacement as "you should have read the user manual".
@@SP3NCE yeah I'm trying to get one for a video too. They look mega
Until the dog took a sh** 😂😂
Why on earth would you want to control a tool that you virtually have in your hand from your phone?
its such a bad idea
I think that trigger is made in GERMANY
