I’ve got 2 Flowmaster super 10’s with resonator delete on my 5.7 Challenger Shaker and love the sound. Might want it a little louder. May go catless. But that Jeep sounds bad ass. 👍🏻
@@keithm7117 You should remove the mufflers before going cat -less. It'll be pretty loud, even with the cats. I have a "straight pipe" exhaust on my 5.7L Chally, & it's very loud with the Kooks high-flow cats that I have. I do have long tubes also. 🤙🏼✌🏼
@@DJGRoc I appreciate the info. I thought about that ,but I don’t have long tube headers yet. I found a company that makes an off road catless pipe that bolts to the stock manifolds for now. I would definitely have to leave the mufflers if I did that. If I had high flow cats, then I would probably take the mufflers out. But the FlowMaster, super 10’s with a catless mid pipe will give it that nice deep very loud tone instead of two raspy. All in due time. 🤣👍🏻
Has a pretty aggressive bark to it now! Your wife has a huge grin on her face, she's digging it! I use a Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back system on my '12 Challenger R/T M6 hemi car, w/40 series mufflers and 3" exhaust out the back from SRT shorty headers and '15 & up SRT mid pipes, made a huge difference. Thanks for the cool video!
Thats a solid exhaust setup you have going there. I think the SRT headers would really complete this setup she has now. Overall very happy with the new setup! Thanks man
All that rust is from the salt the use on the roads in NY, as well as from the cheap metal that most exhaust shops use when you cut the pipes. This is why I tell people to spend a lil more money & just buy a cat-back or axle-back kit that's made with 304 stainless. It'll last far longer than anything else. Aluminized steel, which is what most shops are gonna use cuz it's cheap, will typically rust from within due to condensation. Plus it will corrode faster from the salt up north. Not as much of an issue for you now in FL, unless you're really close to the coast. The salty, ocean air can have the same effect with prolonged exposure. That said, the Jeep sounds great! 👍🏼
The flowmaster sounds good, the inside of the Jeep sounds very good also. The sound of the muffler on the inside is just right. Dosen't drown the interior with the sound of the muffler. The wife is happy about the sound of the new muffler. Check mate.Great videos as always.
@@RTLife Hopefully she'll get the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk soon cause that is Jeep's highest trim level and it's the most powerful SUV Jeep have ever made.
That’s crazy bro, I’m not going to lie, I’ve been off UA-cam for a while now but I come back and you got a scatpack?! Congrats man!!! I started off watching your charger build almost 6 years ago now. That’s crazy!!
I love it, sounds great! I did a mid-muffler delete on my 2020 Limited X and it sounded like an old Chevy truck when I throttled off (which wasn't often, but often enough to want it fixed). Did an X-Pipe where the delete was, and it's been the talk of the town ever since (OK, so North Pole, Alaksa isn't exactly a big town, but people know my Murder Hornet). 😁
Sounds good 👍. I'm sure she'll be turning heads. Even without that new exhaust 😉. I get that it's popular, I'm not a fan of the higher pitch crackling notes at the top of the rev. I'm more into a consistent low pitch growl. I got a charger 5.7 with factory exhaust. Though I really wish it was a bit louder, I'm afraid to modify it because I like the low tone so much.
The 2 flowmaster 40 setup has a very low deep rumble. This is def more aggressive but has that rasp like many mid muffler delete setups. Kind of reminds me of a stock 392 revving
It's so sad how NY is basically killing off the car modding & culture. I knew it was time to leave 2-3 years ago because every time I would bring out my charger it was stopped & ticketed
I just found my set up for my summit 🙌, I was going to go with corsa after hearing others but even them I wasn't too impressed but your set up sounds angry
