What do you think about our BUN CHA? 🤤
Bún chả ngon nhưng mỗi cửa hàng có hương vị khác nhau!
Ngon quá🤤🤤🤤
Basically we have normal round noodles not round shaped noodles
Bun Cha actually has many style, but original come from Hanoi and the best version will be in Hanoi
The Pho shop owner tried to show you how to reduce the heat and cool of Pho sup in Vietnamese style. You mix vigorously and raise the rice noodles to let the air cool the rice noodles. In addition, you dip the Quay bread into the broth to soften the Quay bread and reduce the temperature in the broth.
So cool! He did really take care of much a lot 👍
A lot of Vietnamese eat bung rieu ,bung cha ca ,Hu tieu bung mam, bung nam vang ,mi quang, mi Trung ,Banh canh , bung Bo hue ,,
Enjoying more local coffees and foods
Thank you! I have a feeling you are going to enjoy our next video :)
I don’t know what they blended in the coffee but I love the after taste of it. Even Italian coffee doesn’t have it or the French
Ồ bạn đã quay trở lại thế là bạn đã hoàn thành một chuyến đi tốt đẹp 🎉🥳👍🇻🇳✌️🙂
Yes, we went to Ninh Binh after completing the most amazing Ha Giang Loop 🥳
Beautiful sharing have a good day take care ❤😊
Thank you! You too!
Hello friends
I am Vietnamese and in Russia
I really enjoy watching your videos. I've been watching since the first day of this trip when you came to Vietnam on the occasion of Vietnamese New Year.
Even though there were times when the weather was unfavorable in the Ha Giang rocky plateau, you tried your best to overcome it. May God give you health, energy and enthusiasm to have joyful and happy experiences there.
Thank you so much for watching 😍 Glad you're enjoying the videos!
it's not always easy to film but since we love to travel and encounter authentic experiences, we continue doing what satisfies us the most!
Barely cooked egg can have an unpleasant smell if left cold. That is why hot egg coffee is served with a hot bath of water to prevent the coffee from cooling down too quick.
That’s super interesting! We thought it’s because they just want to keep the coffee warm but it makes totally sense now ☕️🍳 Thanks for sharing!!!
You want local vibe try Tam Dao high hill station French resort town an hour drive from Hanoi, it was established by the French with french atmostsphere and recorded to have snow once in history.....but for some reason not much tourist come here instead they go to Sapa
Interesting! Will check this place out for sure 😌
Beautiful scenery to end the vblog. This place is magical ancient.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😍 The lanterns made an amazing atmosphere around 🏮✨
2 lovely creatures ! :)
You are so kind ❤️
Ok the people are so nice! In that city. Loved the lanterns all lite up. Great video!! I loved the lady with the coconuts!!!! She was a very nice lady.
Thank you so much for the continuous support 😇 Really appreciate it!
1:13 Those white slices in the bowl are actually green papaya. Usually the bowl of dipping sauce will also have some carrots inside but for some reasons this bun cha doesn't have that.
I think i'd give this a 7/10, an 8/10 for bun cha that has minced garlic and carrot, 9/10 for bun cha that has 3 different kinds of meat and a 10/10 for bun cha that also has fried spring rolls as well😄
Haha, fair enough! We ate couple of times Bun Cha and each time it was different - more sophisticated, less "side" ingredients etc. - however, this simple Bun Cha because of the freshness of the meat stole our hearts 🥰😇
That looks delicious😊😊
Chào mừng các bạn đến với Việt Nam , chúc các bạn có những ngày tuyệt vời !
It's so unfortunate for you guys who got scammed. Even as a Vietnamese person myself, I always exercise caution whenever I visit travel destinations.
Anyway, I've always enjoyed watching your videos which have made me refresh during weekend days.
I'm curious how many days you'll be in Vietnam. Looking forward to your next videos.
We need to be more mindful next time! thank you so much 😇
Who cares if they over charge you a few dollars. At the end of the day, these people actually needs that money for living. We get ripped off by big corporates everyday in the west. I rather getting ripped off by those people tbh 😂
Love all your videos, best of luck guys ❤
Hehe my favorite restaurant i didn't think foreigner can find it 🤣
That's crazy! We loved that spot! Such a "hidden" gem 😄💎
Hello brother, happy new year. May you always be prosperous and prosperous. Happy travel
Thank you so much! Same to you 🥳
Welcome to Vietnam ❤🎉
ชินจ่าวสวัสดีครับทุกๆคน
Jayesh Chhaya let go get some bún ốc
Ok I am so pleased you gave the lady 100! ❤
Man bun cha always yummy
Hey guys, a viewer from Vietnam here!
Really love your vlogs, this vid too. Very honest and realistic pov about tourist places since I don't have many chances to travel in even my own country. It's a bit sad because this wasn't the harvest season so you couldn't have a best view of the rice fields. Keep it up guys!
Glad you like them! We like to film everything in a way that our viewers feel like they travel themselves too😍
We always try to go to certain places when there’s a good season but the reality is that you’d end up sometimes unexpectedly in a country which 1) is very diverse depending on the region 2) is difficult to reach at a certain time because of the connections 😂
2 đi đến nơi tuyệt đẹp, ăn uống rất ngon .ok
Tôi rất thích hai bạn. Giản dị và dễ thương
😍 Thank you!
Great video! First time I see how Ninh Binh city looks since most people just show the other attractions, thank you!
Question for Carolina: As a woman traveling in Vietnam, is it safe as it looks?
We felt as if actually there was no tourists haha because in this video we came from the suburbs/main Ninh Binh city to the popular Tam Coc area where was of course more people. The city itself has definitely more to offer! And we love to see how people live their regular lives too 🙏
Since we're travelling together with Jay, there wasn't any time I was feeling unsafe 😄
Jay thank you so much for the video you made 😀
Karolina you are fantastic and nice girl 😘
That bun cha restaurant is near my house. Wish you have a wonderful trip.
It's so good! I'm jealous now 😍
Thanks!
😍 THANK YOU!
Looks good, i would love to taste the egg coffee 😋
It's so good! I'm not a coffee drinker but still truly enjoyed it 😋 Hopefully you will have a chance soon!
@@JayeshChhaya gonna try making it at home soon 🤣
บุ๋นจ่าน่ากินและอร่อยมากๆนะ
It's hot water to keep the coffee hot
bruh i just paid 25$ for this dish in the us and it was the worst bun cha i ever had....
That's insane 😳 I'm sorry to hear that... We love Vietnam the most for people's hospitality and the delicious, extremely fresh and super cheap food options 🙏
This couple is living the life I want to live; experiencing other cultures.
That's what it truly is 🥹
I’m a new subscriber I just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos and I especially like the once in Korea you should check out all the k pop
Thank you so much 😍🤌🏽
@@JayeshChhaya ur welcome ☺️
Thanks for showing the actual city because all the videos I’ve watched of Ninh Binh, vloggers never show what’s there. I love the pagodas you guys went into - so beautiful! And it looks just as beautiful lit up at night, too. I was surprised you guys didn’t read or see videos about how aggressive those parking vendors can be in that area. Just ignore or circumvent them and keep on going until the end. As far as pricing, I wish people would quit using the word dishonest. Yes, dishonesty exists there. But the vendor can charge however much they want because it’s their goods/services, you don’t have to buy it. When you buy things on Amazon and you later find out you could have gotten it for way cheaper, are all the vendors selling it for more dishonest? Or is it the case of you not spending enough time researching and comparing prices? When you buy groceries from one market vs another and there are price differences, are they dishonest or just being competitive? Why is it more so “dishonest” for a Vietnamese vendor than a Western one? Keep in mind, price haggling is also a big thing there, whereas it’s not in the West. I’m not a fan of how the negative connotation are stuck on Viet vendors vs Western ones when it comes to honesty.
We liked the city too and were surprised that there wasn’t any other tourists 😋
I understand your frustration. However, we just didn’t like the approach that the women who stopped us was very harsh and serious for no reason. This energy stayed with us and we would rather reward people who are more welcoming.
You try bun Rieu,Thank you for giving me good videos in Vietnam, wish you both good health, hope you will always enjoy delicious food, you should go to local markets to understand the culture better, stay away tourist area, you will not be charged high prices
Thank you so much for the advice!
Don’t feel bad. I as a Vietnamese got scammed sometimes 😂
There is a saying in Vietnam “Của đi thay người.” Means you lost stuffs but those stuffs will bring away your bad luck (sometimes it may even save your life). And thus, it’s a small price to pay and you shouldn’t think too much about it. Live positively.
I love the way you put it into words!!! Thanks for sharing 😊
The water was to cool d coffee down so d eggnog won't curdle.
That’s right!
Right idea not including temple footage. Once you have seen a few in Asia, you have seen them all.
12:20 I could be wrong, but according to wiki:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Egg coffee
Egg coffee in Hanoi
An egg coffee (Vietnamese: Cà phê trứng)[1] is a Vietnamese drink traditionally prepared with egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk and robusta coffee. The drink is made by beating egg yolks with sugar and condensed milk, then extracting the coffee into the cup, followed by a similar amount of egg cream, or egg yolks which are heated and beaten, or whisked.[2]
The drink is served in cafes throughout Vietnam, originating in Hanoi.[3][4] The Giang Café Archived 2022-07-04 at the Wayback Machine (Vietnamese: Cà Phê Giảng) in Hanoi is known for serving the drink, which it makes with egg yolk, coffee powder, condensed milk, and, optionally, cheese. The cup is sometimes served inside a bowl of hot water or set upon a small candle to retain its temperature. The son of the café's founder Nguyen Giang claims that his father developed the recipe for the drink when milk was scarce in Vietnam in the late 1940s, replacing milk with egg yolk
So from what I understand. The Vietnamese is the one came up with the receipt, during the French colonization. Hehe, The information could be wrong to:) Who know....
So good 😋😋 Thank you for sharing!
I think you wrap the noodle, meat, and veggies using the lettuce. Then dip into the sauce.
People eat it differently but most of the locals did put the greens into the fish sauce ✌️
Did you guys try Bun Cha Obama yet?
I thought you both in Thailand right now.
Nope, we haven’t tried that one! Where you can find it???
I didn’t see any ghost 👻? 😊
Thanks 4 sharing 👍
Quá tuyệt vời,tôi yêu 2 bạn
❤️❤️
How much do you rent the bikes for?
The normal rental price was 80.000 VND/bike!
❣️
Ninh Binh BUN CHA
Bỏ tất cả các loại rau vào ăn cùng lúc mới cảm nhận hương vị của nó
😋😋😋
Ở đâu của Việt Nam vậy?
Ninh Binh 😍
Don't forget to take your shoes off before entering next time 😅
Taking our shoes off when entering...? 😇
The pagoda temple room bit which you thought you were not sure if allowed to walk inside or not @@JayeshChhaya
I also am guilty of accidentally walking through such a place with shoes on, and only then realised that some locals had all taken off their shoes. Some other such places I subsequently visited have signs but not everywhere does. Etiquette may be slightly different for each pagoda, but I would assume those buildings supposed to take off shoes. (though of course I may be mistaken)
By the way, thank you for your videos about Vietnam, they are great. Keep them coming :) You guys are great!
Which place in Viêt Nam have you visited in this clip ???
Ninh Binh 👍
It is so cheap . Here USA about $18
From India hi brother
We don’t eat rice everyday we keeps changing our meals
True! We just were told that Rice is a staple crop that most of the people eat for lunch/dinner 😉
Our foods are very healthy always vegetables in it you guys will never see over size people in Vietnam
That’s why we love all the Vietnamese dishes so much!!!
12:32 Giang, the creator of Egg Coffee, was a chef at Metropole that catered to foreigners. He wanted Vietnamese to have a taste of the luxurious capuchino that those fking colonizers deprived us from so he used eggs to substitute for cream and milk
I hope that what you meant by "they", not those damn French
We've actually been to the Giang Cafe in Hanoi and read the whole history about cà phê trứng ☕️ So interesting! Thanks for sharing 😇
I really like watching you guys and understand ripping off tourists is just not okay under any forms. But sometimes it’s just not worth fighting or “investigate” the price of just $1 or $2. Considering you guys having such a great time, that couple bucks would go so far for those people so why hesitating over $1. Just my opinion for any third world developing countries, since we live in the west and paying $20 for parking is normal 😅
That’s so true! When you put things into perspective sometimes it just not worth worrying about such small amount 😅
It’s just a matter of injustice.
Mua đồ ở khu du lịch luôn là rất đắt
True that! We try to avoid doing this 😊
Hello
😊😂
Both you ate lots of delicious foods in Vietnam Saigon city but not gained fat because Vietnamese foods are less fat
And the food is super fresh too! 😍
The only food vloogers travelers, letting people keep the change for the cheapest most delicious looking food I've seen a small bowl of pho in cali is 10 bucks minimum today and you got 2 bowls for like 2 or 3 bucks now thats living life and i loved how you gave that little kid money the other vid that was carrying that 80 pound basket of flowers to make money , only good things will happen for you and your wife
So true! People in Asia don’t always see that small money can make such a huge different for local people. We are just regular vloggers at the moment, but when we start making money, we definiely want to “invest” more into local communities and make more giveaways for the ones in need 🙏❤️
$18 for Vermicelli noodles fish cake Hanoi
Bún chả cá ở Hà Nội giá cũng tầm 1-2$ thôi bạn.
@@HaiTran-vk8wv i saw the price in Restaurant here CA US but not tried it yet
i can share picture of vermicelli noodles fish cake Hanoi of the restaurant but in emails or Facebook only
Oh wow! The prices in US are insane 😳
These are poor people guys, they are just trying to make a living. 20k is really not worth agonizing over.
Totally agree!
what a rule people scam you guys. but thank you that an experience for all of us here
😬
You should let your girlfriend hold the camera from now on. She's very stable with it, she's a natural.
Karolina can always take the GoPro whenever she wants 😉
Egg coffee and French people, That's irrelevant.
Egg coffee was implemented when there was shortage of milk 👀
@@JayeshChhaya yes, egg coffee was implemented when there was shortage milk. But...
"Cà phê trứng ra đời đầu tiên chính là tại cafe Giảng, do cụ Nguyễn Văn Giảng sáng tạo ra. Nguồn gốc món đồ uống này là khi làm bartender cho khách sạn 5 sao Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, vì thiếu sữa tươi pha cà phê nên cụ Giảng đã nghĩ đến cách thử dùng trứng để pha chế."
Werd, it’s the principle
What exactly are you referring to? :)
The part where you had to pay 20k for parking those bikes when you went to hang mua
It’s green papaya, not radish. So yummy! 🤤
Wow! We had no idea! We were just surprised because there was always a carrot too haha 😋🥕 Loved that Bun Cha though ❤️
You need to be more assertive.
True that! Sometimes when you don’t knkw the language it’s dossicult to sense the energy but definitely we need to be more mindful 😉
❤❤❤
Enjoying more local coffees and foods
Thanks 😍
