First comment! YEEET! Anyways, I've been messing with IBIS on the Canon R5 lately as well and I have some insights I could maybe add! So it seems to me that there are 3 instances where the wobbling occurs:
One of which is where the corners of the sensor cause warping due to the fact that the IBIS is, essentially, too strong on those wide lenses.
Another instance is when, and no one seems to notice this one, but when you use stabilized Canon EF or EF-s lenses with the R5, the IBIS and the lens stabilization will work together, but will only use 2 axis stabilization on the R5. I have come to find that the IBIS tends to make the lens stabilization WORSE and cause wobbling across the entire frame! THey end up competing with each other, and digital stabilization actually makes this even more of an issue.
The third case is when you're using a stabilized RF lens, with IBIS, and Digital stabilization, somehow they end up competing with each other just like they do on the new sony A7S3. Digital is correcting on top of the lens and the IBIS, and they are simply not tuned well in their current state ESPECIALLY at wider focal lengths.
This being said a good rule of thumb is to ONLY use electronic IS with non-stabilized lenses. The electronic stabilization works exceptionally well with the IBIS unit, but not with any lens units, yet. Perhaps they will fix this in the future. But it just makes sense because the IBIS and the electronic stabilization are using the same sensor data, and are both tuned with each other, they do not need to communicate with any other moving parts to function and thusly are superior as a team of two, lens stabilization always seems to compete with them, even in RF lenses!
As an example, I use the sigma 18-35 f 1.8 with ibis and digital all the time! And I have no wobble EVER and the stabilization is incredibly good!
I also have the Tamron 24-70 G2 and it fights with the IBIS unit making it almost unusable! Which is a shame because it works fantastic on cameras with no stabilization.
Native RF lens stabilization plus IBIS, is great if you stay past 28mm or so 24 is usually fine too. Canon EF lenses with stabilization compete with the IBIS, sometimes horrible, unless you're past 70mm where they seem to work together better. And lenses with NO STABILIZATION are somehow the best pairing with the R5 IBIS and Digital stabilization as they allow the camera to work within itself, avoiding any conflicting moving elements in any lens where a fraction of a millisecond of delay can butcher a shot at wide focal lengths!
Thoughts!? Sorry, I felt like sharing all of that lol keep up the dope videos!

Nice comments. I think after testing many situations, your comments seem to be consistent with what I've experienced. Thanks!
