For a 20+ year old watch it looks awesome! I love a good vintage piece especially with a story! Nope. Keep the scratches. Your dad put them there. Glad you got it fixed!
Well, in my opinion the watch has some familiar history. Since the movement is already fixed and working, I would keep the case and bracelet as they are now, all those marks and scratches tell part of that story. Great watch
Thanks for this comment. In these last few days This watch has got quite a lot of wrist time and I‘ve come to the same conclusion. Thank you for commenting!!!
I'm not the expert, but at the first sight that thing is too fat, too heavy. A dial is ok, some kind of a old school swiss playing safe ' I don't know do I wanna be a diver, a field watch, or a GMT, I wanna be everything'' , that's okay, I like it. Bracelet is overengineered, too heavy and a poop a bit. A crown guard - great idea. Date placement - poop idea. Lugs aren't drilled - very poop idea. Extremely hard (or impossible) to find some adapters in order to put some other strap, very bad, very selfish. I must say this is a first time that I see a Tissot with a date placement at 4 o'clock....it was usually at the 3 o'clock, or between 4 and 5 (which is also very disgusting). Dimensions - it looks really well proportioned to me. No offense bud, this is only my opinion
Thank you for this comment! As a matter of fact I agree with most of the things you wrote. This watch looks like a diver, however it is not water resistant to 200 m. I don’t particularly like, as I think I’ve said in the video, the stainless steel rotating bezel. On the other hand, for me the date window at 4 o’clock is really nice. In general the date window at 4 o’clock is a feature that I really like on mechanical watches. I agree that the bracelet is overengineered, in fact this was the main reason to prevent me from polishing it. Despite all this, I am really glad I get to wear this watch. Thanks again for your comment !
Beautiful watch.... thank you for sharing. 😊

Great video bro, this watch looks fantastic and I love that braclet
Thanks Chris! I’ll leave it as it is. Seems to be what everyone suggests, and also what I prefer!
