A perfect fit, the original bracelet seemed out of propotions (maybe because it does not tapers down) and very worn. The silicone strap gave new life to that timex, keep it and use it, the slide rule bezel is one of my favorite gimmicks in a watch. Also, I really liked your cat's profanities, probably noticed the mistake on the strap installation before yourself. Thans for sharing!
The cat knows better! I've been wearing this Timex everyday since the strap change. I'm a Casio guy, but lately this Timex has replaced the Casios I had been wearing. Except when I needed functions such as the countdown timer. Thanks for this comment!!!
The new strap looks good man! I like silicon straps. They are comfy and rather durable! Thats a great feature on the keeper! It seems to fit the case perfectly. Companies are super sneaky when it comes to hiding their hollow links. I dont mind hollow links but I kind of feel cheated when I thought I bought solid straps and then got one which is hollow. What I do is I look when the pin hole of the strap is and then I take a spring bar tool and guide that pin to the hole... But usually only after I struggle for a while lol.
You're right! And also the tool that I called "prying tool" is actually a "springboard tool". You'll have to excuse me, English is not my native language and sometimes words "escape" me. It happens in my mother tongue too, though... Thanks for this comment!
Timex reviews need a bit of appreciation

Yeah, it's always a struggle... but then one is rewarded with the good looks of a watch with a fresh strap!

10:20 Those are spring bars. They are not pins.
