My Look keo is 9 yo, and looking like new with one maintaince recently. Meanwith my mtb HT pedals lasted two winters and axels almost completely done.

From my understanding the outer race should stay fix, thus no Lubrication need in btw it’s casing. Suggest use locktite.. use medium one

Looks to me like you don't really have to do maintenance. The system is sealed pretty good and that grease looked like it was still cleam.

You didn’t seem to apply any grease to the narrow end of the axle where it makes contact with the rollers in the needle bearing - is there a reason for that?

Greetings! I got these eyelets keo blade carbon 8 as a gift. But on one pedal there is no steel plate, it was lost. The question is, can you ride without this plate? And will these pedals fit Shimano road shoes, SH-RP100? :) and with spikes Spikes for clipless pedals compatible with LOOK KEO, M-WAVE 5-311836

The outside of the bearing, the flat part of it at the top , it doesn't move, no need to grease it.

My left pedal has some light creaking when applying force on it. Do you think it can be solved simply by dismantling the axle and applying fresh grease? I also noticed some slight play, I guess that’s where it might come from…

Taking it apart is the first step to check on its internal.

I couldnt find any service manual for these pedals, best bet is a generic grease. This shimano grease which I m using in most of mine videos works well with most bicycle maintenance work.

Me too, tried to unscrew in the wrong direction with too much force, and broke the screw. Hmm, usually I'm not that stupid :) Make sure you turn the allen key clockwise on the left pedal! In fact, if you watch closely at 0:50 into the video, you can see very well what I mean.
