    Now this is why you’re the best street photography channel on UA-cam. While other channels make videos like “Best Focal Length for a Beginner” or “How to Pack for Travel Street Photography” or whatever. And then there’s you who actually gets to the point, how we should immerse ourselves in the field, take away all the unnecessary things, see this way, see that way - everything is precise, educative and enlightening.

    Hello Eduardo! Lovely bit of advice as always. I found that by disabling all but the essential from my screen (the focus point) I was free to experiment a lot more with my compositions. I've had the 3x3 grid on for the longest time and it is already burned into my eye so I do not need it to guide me anymore on the screen. After my most recent photowalk, I managed to finally nail a shot I had been chasing for 2 years!

    I just got back from Istanbul a couple weeks ago and wish I had come across Tim Jamieson and your videos a month ago, then I guess that's the algorithm getting involved.
    I really like the way you worked your shots in many of the same locations I was shooting. You've also got a very calming presence in front of the camera and in the audio that accompanies it.
    Look forward to more of your work.

    Just curious how you approach shooting jpeg vs raw? Do you use a particular Fuji profile, and is there much post processing for you? Thanks! Love the work

    • @eortizfoto
      @eortizfoto  5 місяців тому +2

      I shoot raw... not because I need more dynamic range, just the colour density is way better. Also because my editing has changed a lot throughout time and want to be able to correct previous shots.
      I used the fujifilm film simulations as starting points on my editing. btw I use capture one.

    Merci pour ces vidéos qui sont toutes magnifiques. Les compositions sont toujours surprenantes et dynamiques, je n’arrive jamais à imaginer la même composition que toi sur les vidéos. Une question technique: tu fais ton expo toujours en manuel et sur les hautes lumières ? Ou tu es en AV?

    • @eortizfoto

      Je fait le expo en manuel toujours en pensant les hautes lumières. On général je expose en utilisant de ma main, quand elle est bien exposé j’arrive à faire des photos sans penser trop a changer les réglages.

    Thank you Eduardo ! Great video. What motivated you to shoot the 23mm instead of the 18mm in this situation ?

    • @eortizfoto
      @eortizfoto  5 місяців тому +1

      Two main reasons. I wanted to bring one lens only this time around, and this was the only one I have with a distance scale. I wanted to use it to show my students how I zone focus. Plus, I tend to get more “keepers” with a 23mm (35mm)
