I'm talking to my recruiter tomorrow to schedule MEPS! I live like 10 minutes from the MEPS in my area, do I still get put up in a hotel? Also, can you post more tips that are catered specifically toward the Air National Guard, that's what I am going to do as well, but most videos on UA-cam talk about active duty so it's really confusing. Especially things like job selection, student flight before leaving for BMT, and how long it takes to leave, etc..
It’s up to your recruiter if you’ll have to stay the night in a hotel. But I would assume you would , the cost is covered, they just need to have full accountability of everyone to go to the base. Being with them in the morning is your ticket onto the base basically. I would love to do more videos geared towards Air National Guard. The lack of videos and information I found is actually what drove me to create this channel.
@@its.emilymegan I actually found out that I probably won't be staying in a hotel, our MEPs is actually not on a base, it's just a building on public property which I thought was strange, but it is what it is.
i take the edpt in one hour!!! i've never taken the edpt and havent taken the asvab since 2012! i suck at math and not the best at timed logic test but we'll see how we do!
@@its.emilymegan i got a 42! i studied for three days but obviously it wasn't enough. here are my tips --study at least 30 days prior --practice arithmetic. know your percentages into decimals, fractions into decimals, etc. --do the practice tests that help you figure out the 'this shape is similar to this shape' --study number sequences --do all the 'cow is to moo as bark is to...' questions first! --immediately skip the questions you can't answer in less than a minute, move on and come back to them --don't waste your time shading in the answer sheet until the very end, just quickly mark it and move on --edit-- my test booklet was from 1973 or 1976!!
I'm curious as I've heard from so many others that you do the physical in your underwear in a group, did you say you were in a curtain area? Like alone?
I am most likely going to Meps, and I'm concerned about my weight. I am 5'4 and 170. Would that get me disqualified? Also, I have like 3 faded scars in my forearm. Would that also disqualify me?
Amazing content. As a service member, I am so glad new airmen know what kind of potatoes they're gonna get.
Very helpful
Thank you!
Love the information!! Are you going to do a video about reception?
How has it been Ms. Emily?
Good luck

What about the running portions like the sit-ups and push-ups

Check online to see about ur height and weight and scars they are going to ask what happened so maybe or not.
For airforce max weight for 5'4 was 160lbs. I was at 165 and was told to lose weight first
Hey when did you receive your uniforms?
Like the first week of bmt
How long did it take to get an date for meps? My recruiter put in my paperwork a week ago and I still haven’t hear back
It’s all up to your locations covid restrictions and how many people are set to go in front of you. It could be anywhere from days to weeks
You ever get the day?
Wait so you get stripped down and then have to do the duck walk or the only time you have to be undressed is with the doctor?
Yup, physical you strip down in yea boxers if a guy and have a doctor and the “ nurses” tell you what to do etc
