  • Here's a much needed update on my 2311 and all the fixes to past problems and some new ones which arouse over time. So far I have yet to have a normal range trip with this gun and am becoming increasingly frustrated with it. Hopefully the future holds improvements but we shall see.

The hammer follow is because of the excessive return to battery, (recoil spring) its bumping off the sear. The sear might be getting damaged or on the far end of an acceptable spec.

I’ve been having a magazine insertion and catch issue as well.Like you,I initially thought it was the mag catch.Upon further inspection I found that the ejector is contacting the magazine rear lip.I’ve contacted Oracle Arms and I hope to send it in for repair.

Oh yeah, I want to see videos about the other two guns. That P30 looks sweet

Oof. Sorry to hear about the issues. That’s the chance one takes when you try a model new to the market. Let’s see if they make this right or if they go belly up.

I have one in the 3xxs for the serial number. I have just passed the 1k threshold on mine as well. (mix of 115/124 fmjs and 100 147 federal HST JHP)
The optic plate I have had no issues with. Mine went on with no issues. I am however using the K plate for the EPS carry. Wonder if its a difference in the plates? I was definitely not a press fit to the gun though.
I have not had a hammer follow issue but my spring is still the factory spring as well. I have yet to have a malfunction on the firearm during shooting. I have had issues with loading where the round wont go up the feed ramp if I use the slide stop and it pushes the round in. Charging on a closed slide I have no feeding issues from an empty gun.
Hard to tell but the movement in mine looks less then yours on the slide wiggling around.
Magazines have varying wear but non that look as bad as the one that you have shown.
Now the trigger. Where I think it is a design flaw issue and causes problems. Randomly my trigger would be super heavy like 6-8lbs feeling. Bro no 2011 platform should that heavy of a trigger I thought. Well sometimes it would be amazing. Even under the rated 4lbs in feel imo. I havent had a trigger gauge on it but when it feels good IT FEELS GOOOOOD. Now a few things I noticed is that when I had my finger closer to the bottom of the trigger to shoot like I do on my Five Seven it would be heavier more. It seems that when you have your finger down there it binds the trigger bar because its twisting the trigger I guess instead of going straight back. When my finger is high and wrapped around it I dont have that issue. I asked a gunsmith friend from the range I work at what that could be. He said that the trigger bar needs to be lubricated because it will bind and can cause that heavy trigger feeling. The bar runs on the right side of the gun in the mag well. Dabbed it up a bit with oil and he put a drop at the top and bottom of the trigger itself and I have yet to re experience that binding trigger pull. I have not put my finger at the bottom again though so maybe its just all in how the trigger is depressed which imo is a big design flaw.
Now the finish on the gun isnt the greatest either. I got a scratch on the side of my frame where I think one of the mags rubbed it in a reload/malfunction practice. Very upset. Its small but imma forever know it is there.
I am glad to see some objective thoughts into this thank you. I will continue to monitor and share my updates with you as well as time goes on.

Had my gun for 2 days and had to send it back. It would have problems loading ammo into chamber. Drove me crazy.

Did you have any excessive DLC wear off in side the gun?

No excessive wear, but the barrel hood and the area under the guide rod had little to no DLC out of the box.

Copy. Just curious because my compact DLC is coming off at rapid rate. I'm waiting to hear back from OA. Thanks for the update.@@wild6048

I'm at a 1000 on mine no issues. I'll be looking into some of the detail items you pointed out. Right now I'm doing a non cleaning test

Sorry but a review of a modified pistol that is malfunctioning likely because of the changes makes little sense. A stock unit review makes more sense to give potential customers a better sense of the advantages and disadvantages of the gun.

      1. It wasn't a review
      2. I changed the recoil spring by 1lb, I'd hardly call it a 'modified pistol'
      3. Look at my other videos

Curious as to why you swung the gun all around when the hammer didn’t reset with a live round in the chamber.
    This gun is a pos

I was verifying what kind of malfunction was occurring and that the gun was fully in battery. The camera angle may be deceptive but the gun was pointed down range within the confines of the booth the entire time.
