Lainey is 100% County , she is also the female voice in "wait in the truck " you should check out her song "Things a man outta know " and yes check her out live you definitely won't be disappointed.
Lainey is so good! I like her live better than studio! I’m still going through the biggest shit of my life and your videos help me so much! Thank you for that! I’m not completely through the mess yet but every step is getting me closer to a solution. Thank you for your reactions they are helping me to not give up!
Laney is a cowgirl that sings. That Bullet Rye pairs real well with a touch of dry vermouth, a dash of Angostura bitters and maybe a little bit of tart cherry juice. My late FIL loved Manhattans, I gave him a bottle this and every time we would come over, it was “Let’s have one of those very special Manhattans.” Thanks for visiting that Rye, it needs to be on my whiskey shelf.
As a female and an equestrian I really love the messaging in the song and video. There definitely are horses (and people) that have been hurt in the past and had their trust broken so they need a little more time and kindness in order for them to feel safe. Horses like these tho once you have their trust would follow you through fire. Similarly to helping heal "broken people".
Yes, check out her live performances because she does not disappoint. It's always refreshing to see a performer who can deliver a great performance when they sing live. Oddly enough this isn't one of my favorite Lainey songs. She has some great songs though.
I honestly can't afford to bribe, but if you ever can, will you please do Shane Owens-It's a Southern Thing? He's my cousin and has a pretty traditional style.
I'd love to see this under a pitch monitoring software. I agree with Keith, it sounded to me like they went in in post a cleaned up a few spots a little too much. Keith has the better ear for picking that kinda thing up, but too me, it felt like she was probably a tiny bit flat or sharp at times, and they corrected that, but it was too clean. I want to say nobody (but I try to avoid universal statement) can hit and stay perfectly on pitch all the time. I'm not saying it bad per se, but it was a bit too "perfect" for me at times.
@@BourbonCountryReacts100% agree all those people you named absolutely have PERFECT pitch! What I was referring to is more on the sustained notes. Basically everyone has slight variations with the exact Hz their voice is making. It's almost indistinguishable to far more than 99.99% of people, but for some reason the music industry has decided that's not acceptable so they go in and "fix" things, and at times, if the singer has significant slop in their pitch control it can make thing sound slightly robotic. I'm definitely not qualified to explain any of this. I've watched a few videos from the channel "Wings Of Pegasus" where he runs vocals through some pitch monitoring software and it shows exactly what the voice is doing pitch wise and how the frequency moves between pitches. I don't understand the technology, but it's fascinating what technology can show.
@@BourbonCountryReacts I just went back and watched parts of Wings of Pegasus's video comparing Judy Garland's Somewhere Over the Rainbow to a recent cover of the song by Kelly Clarkson's. Basically what he was saying was it's not autotune, but they are basically tuning Kelly's voice like you would tune an instrument and our vocal cords aren't stringed instruments. In the example he showed that even on a tuned guitar once you fret a note you add very slight variations. I'm sorry if it soundes like I'm trying to argue. That is not my intentions at all, it just found this topic quite fascinating, and I thought you might as well!

Definitely worth checking out a live performance from Lainey!
PLEASE LISTEN TO HER DUET WITH JELLY ROLL SAVE ME
Thank you for bringing Lainey back!
Lainey is amazing Live…will blow y’all away.
I appreciate that Lainey is a songwriter and not one song is alike.
She did a live duet with Jelly Roll’s Save me. Awesome performance
I second this for live vocals.
That's appeared a couple of times in the comments on this vid now. - Keith
@@BourbonCountryReacts I prefer Jelly Roll's version solo. It's more powerful than the duet
Lainey also starred in Yellowstone the playlist for that show is outstanding with tons of country music.
You gotta react to her live, she absolutely can sing

Lainey has an amazing voice and is amazing live.
Happy New Year and best wishes for a great 2025.
Keep up the commendable work.
Check out the live version of Lainey and Jelly Roll- Save Me. It’s really good.
Ooh, I hope we get to that via bribe or votes. - Keith
She is an amazing country singer/ writer. If you want to hear her live listen to her and Hardy perform Wait In The Truck live at an award show.
All country and just as good live!!
Lainey is one of my favorite country singes
Big fan, guys! Keep it up!
Thanks! - Keith
@BourbonCountryReacts Your videos have kept me positive through more shit than you know. So, no, thank YOU!

I’d love to see you all react to “good girl” Carrie underwood. Truly some of her craziest vocals!
Well Country is melding with rock. Now you want to see her do live.. Lainey Wilson performs "Country's Cool Again" | 2024 CMT Music Awards.
This ol heart by Terry Clark talks about her heart being built like a truck. Also, Lainey Wilson was on Hardy’s song Wait in the Truck.
She is the real deal. So good. My favorite of her songs is These Boots.
She does a live with jelly roll that is awesome

I definitely think they tend to overdo effects on her voice in alot of studio songs but the live performances will speak for themselves.
Hopefully we'll get to a live performance. - Keith
I do think ya'll have heard her. You reacted to "Stay in the Truck" by Hardy? That was Lainey in that too.
Yeah, that was our introduction to Hardy. It was awesome. - Keith

You both enjoy exceptional female vocals, you check out Lauren Alaina Three, road not taken, getting good.
A lot of styles end up in the "Country" bucket, because they don't fit in other places. Great reaction.
Country and Rock seem to have been merging for a long time now. - Keith
@@BourbonCountryReacts Yep, about the time Rap became main stream and there was no place for the rockers to play or listen to songs on the radio.
You guys should react to her new songs like ring finger or devil dont go there or whiskey colored crayon please.

Hey, Dustin. All I taste as I listen to this is Yellowstone Select.

I don’t think any of their labels are level, so it must be intentional.
sorry, her voice is screechy. not a fan
