  • This is a simple video walking the viewer through setting up RF scans of Minneapolis FM broadcast stations as received on a whip antenna. It shows how to use the Math FFT functions of this inexpensive oscilloscope as a "poor man's spectrum analyzer".

      Note that some handy features only are present in the 4 channel models. In particular the FFT automatic marker display tables are not present in the two channel versions and the web browser control is missing in some models. Good luck!

      It probably wasn't needed for this example, but I did it anyway using a BNC T connector and a 50ohm BNC termination left over from ancient BNC networking days...
