    your voice is so soothing and I always come back to your beginners' burgundy knit/purl hat as a refresher (but I'm wild and crazy and use worsted on a small-spaced, many-peg loom and knit 2 purl 2, my favorite :). You taught me a very valuable skill.

      @LoomaHat Me too!!! 😁
      Typically, I don't go by a pattern or even count my stitches or rows, I just go by the seat of my pants & judge the "size" by eye - a couple times they've been too small, but super cute nonetheless. 😜 *I wish we could share pics on YT*
      Thx for sharing!! ❤️

    • @a.r.3836
      @a.r.3836 Місяць тому

      @@jammerjen5504 hello, what size of loom do you use for those baby hats and how many rows/rounds of ribbing and the main stitch you do?

    • @jammerjen5504
      @jammerjen5504 Місяць тому

      @a.r.3836 Hi! For brand new babies, I use the smallest (blue) loom, but for toddlers & little kids, I use the 2nd size up (red). Older kiddos I use the green loom & for adults I use the largest (yellow). If I do a ribbed start, I'll typically do 6-8 rows & then I never count my 'body' of stitches - I just eyeball the size or go until I run out of yarn. I usually use 2 skeins of chunky yarn (64 yds ea).
      Hope this helps, even though it's not very specific. I wish we could share pics on here.
      Good luck!! 👍 Have fun!!

    I love this pattern and I have made a few in different colors. I adapted that to a chunky Flexee. I prefer when it is more like Beret, so I use 52 pegs and the brim is UK3, P1, the rest is the same as in the video. This gives me the "mushroom" look I like. Thank you for your creations and videos sharing your knowledge.

    How many rows would you recommend for a regular sized hat? I love the slouch look, but a few people I am making hats for prefer the traditional fit.
