Tammie, I'm a 19 y/o female from the US, and I have been chronically ill since I was 12. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), POTS, and Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAS). I also deal with immense chronic pain that has kept me mostly bedroom bound for the majority of my teen years. There is a quote that goes like this: 'Someone will see your thorns and be comforted.' I am comforted knowing I am not the only one who is sick. I'll be here cheering you on, Tammie, and let's walk this difficult path together. WE GOT THIS!!!
Tammie, I am your same age, too! And I've also come out of the hospital, for mental health reasons. It is so, so comforting to see someone like you, who are so determined despite the cards we are dealt in life. You are STRONG! I am so inspired, as well; I've seen the way that you turn to God because sometimes I have trouble with faith. You motivate me to keep fighting, despite the hardships I face. Thank you for sharing your journey! You've got this, girl! 💕💕
hi laura! yay so happy u got out of there :> another milestone achieved!🥳 You are such a warrior and I know your journey must not have been easy too :< but I just wanna say I am so so proud of you and always rooting for u alright! Dont ever lose hope okay? god gave you these challenges cause he knew YOU could do it and nobody else :> ok ilysm eheh thanks for watching!
Currently watching this from the hospital. I'm going on week 3 of being in the hospital for what feels like the 100th time in the past 4 years. I'm also chronically ill and nothing seems to be helping with my symptoms. I may end up having surgery again soon to try and help, but currently, the doctors need to find a way to get on the same freaking page. I've had a NG tube several times, rn I have a G tube though bc it's more long-term. I'm around your age I believe, and it's motivating to see you still trying to continue self-care and doing things that make you happy while in the hospital. Stay strong, I hope things get better for you! (Yes I'm aware this was posted like a year ago)
Hello Tammie, I am so proud you for creating this video, although I cried so much seeing that you have to go through all this pain at such a young age. I have a daughter age 19 and although she is healthy, I realize we will never appreciate life until we truly experienced real pain. But I believe you are born here as a special source of inspiration to all of us. Please don't ever give up and believe in yourself that you are here for something bigger in life. If you believe in god, HE is always fair. I know you will make your parents proud one day. All the best and stay strong Tammie!
Thank you for sharing your journey! You are so brave and strong. I am twice your age and I wish I have such bravery to face life challenges too. Love to see you adding little cute positivity to the otherwise daunting process. I pray that you got better soon, less pain and more love & laughter ❤️
Hey, im 17 and I just got out of the hospital myself! I have gastroparesis and get all my nutrition from feeds (though im not tolerating it very well.) it's comforting to see another teen going through what I am though I wouldnt wish it on anyone. keep fighting
You remind me when I was in hospital during giving birth to my son. I have emergency c-sec. I hope I can be as strong like you at that time. Jia you!!! Fighting
Tough times don’t last, but tough people do💪.You’re so strong and awesome. Never give up, things will always get better. Have trust in the medical team and nurses. Keep vlogging. Show the world how strong you are. Smile more, you look prettier :) Love, Anonymous Nurse

Hi, Tam! 🥰 I'm a congenital heart patient from the PH. I used to live in hospitals, too. I know how hard and painful it can be. Sending you my warmest hugs and prayers! YOU GOT THIS! 🙌🏽 Lovelots, warrior. 🤗🌻
OMG YOU HAVE SMA I HAVE SMA. sorry it’s weird that I’m excited it’s just that my entire junior year got ruined and I failed most of my classes and almost died of starvation because it took so long for the doctors to diagnose me and it’s the first time I’m seeing someone else my age with it. I’m sorry you have to deal with that hopefully we’ll both get better and live fun full lives.❤❤❤
I’m jealous how focused and happy (to an extent considering where you are…) you seem with an NG tube. Obviously I’m not jealous that you’re sick and have on in, but I had one for 24 hours before I got it taken out for me because I couldn’t handle it, terrible 24 hours smh. I didn’t once think of hygiene or schoolwork. I just spent most of the time sleeping, crying, or retching lol. I was only on it because the doctors determined I wasnt getting enough food in, which was true of course, but real food was soo much better even though I was nauseous and in pain. Still ill but I’ve been free and hopefully won’t have to go back. I loved the nurses though, they remembered me even when there was months in between stays. I don’t have any diagnosis yet, but I’ve been doing many tests to find something hopefully. Stay strong!!
Precious woman. I'm currently dying of liver and kidney failure. I'm 34. I'd give you some more years and take them from mine. Anyways pray for me too if you can. Stay strong love
What a strong girl you really make me to look to my self and said I have healthy body with no disease what I did with this body do I thank god for it, do I study every day and go to college; you really inspired me to be better, I hope you will be ok ،I hope You will recover from your illness and return to your normal life, I am sorry if my expression in English is bad because it is not my first language, but I really want to thank you, fight and do not despair, you can overcome this disease🌟💪🌟
