Bizarre Stefania Belmondo won more than Di Centa but you made a documentary on the latest. Maybe Belmondo was too humble and did not make a lot of fuss around her as Di Centa did
But she did not have a single Olympics as great as Di Centa's Lillehammer one, even though she had a better overall career.
Di Centa also won the overall World Cup twice, which Belmondo never won. Meaning Di Centa was the worlds best skiier 2 different years and Belmondo never was. I still think Belmondo had the better career overall for sure, but Di Centa has more success in some areas.
EPO doper and she was Conconi's client
Yup. Sad that she is still being championed by the IOC when her blood-doping was so well-documented, but I'm not surprised, as it fits perfectly with their ethos of hypocrisy - Relentless propaganda pushing a public image of "honor, prestige, integrity, glory, etc." that is merely a cover-up for the rampant corruption and shady practices which all but define the organization's Modus Operandi.
in Di Centa's defense though, the "client" was the entire Italian Olympic Committee, and they were giving EPO to pretty much any willing athlete in endurance-heavy sports. Not saying it's justified, as the end-results are obviously the same, but there is a difference between shooting up roids in some shady clinic versus participating in a government-funded "scientific study" on a new, relatively-unknown drug.
Probably, as much as the Russians, the Finnish, the Norwegians ( headed by Daehlie totally involved in doping)... Everybody got dopped at the times, so your proliss childish comment is a pointless one .
