What's up my beautiful people!? I wanted to take y'all along to put the Hoka Cielo Road to the test as a longer distance, average speed runner. I'm definitely not this shoe's target audience but it was fun to run in them. Let me know if you've tried them out and what you think! Should I race a 5k in them?!

I think this kind of shoes is really fit for everyone AS LONG AS one is taking seriously the strength of their feet and doing good work on the tendons. I find that to be true for myself: I've always run in Hokas with a 5mm (or more) drop. Then I decided to try use Altra Torin 6, which is extremely close to the ground. The shoe in itself is amazing, but my first runs with them caused some sore feet and legs. That is merely a consequence of me not doing enough "maintenance" on my lower body. But once I took that aspect of training as seriously as running itself everything went great. I feel I could run even in high heels now because my legs and joints are simply strong and ready! My suggestion would be to simply smoothen your way toward their adoption: start with 5 min jog, then slooooowly increase week by week. Give your body the time to adapt and work on plyometrics end feet strength in the meantime. Then you can even run in moon boots without any risk of injury. As my coach said to me: "High tech shoes, low tech feet. Aim for the opposite". Great video and great smiles as always Hellah! ❤
Glad to see you running
Hellah since this version has that ventilation on top how do you think it would hold up running in rain and snow?
You need to run with David Goggins! That will be a hella collab
I’ll take a custom Hellah pair, thanks!
I enjoyed watching a good video today
I use the clifton when I run on the road. I have the mach 4s I use that for treadmill amd sprinting on track is that what the mach are for? And what bout these cielo can I use them in place of the cliftons? I want to run on the road a lil faster so would those be good or get the sneakers with the rocker thing ur talking about? I'm not a runner like that, I run maybe 2x a week 3 to 5 miles but I wanna get better time. The cliftons r good but what shoe can I use to run in the street to get better time and for a 5 or 10k? Thx man
