I know I'm showing my age here, but we'd be impressed when Harry from AVO would run an 11, with wheel spin, in his white VL at heathcote. People were tripping because it had 12 injectors. A shade over 300rwkws in a VL could get you into the 10's with a good setup. Different time, different (better) technology, better safety, we are living in a bloody great time for car enthusiasts where so many people can make HUGE power on the street. I'm just ranting coz I sold all my good cars..
i know...love it, i remember when a fully balanced n’ blue printed (lol) V8 with 400hp comod/falc was stupendous.... always thought a 6 was a better motor and adding a turbo proved it...
I can’t really think of any other motors making power so this really sets that bar for what power is at this point and I can’t say the new supra cause I don’t know what it can do yet
It's great to see how 6's are being used to make previously unachievable hp numbers. It's even better to see it comes from Australia, as a display of our engineering prowess. We, 🇦🇺, easily hold our own with any other nation. Well done to all involved and especially the Fullboost crew for getting it out there.👍👍👍 P.S. Top Car award - Cressida Sleeper. @Youknow88 Nice try, zoom in during the run and you can see it spike to 34.5psi to get that 950hp right at the end, was running 31psi 98% of the pass, so really 890-900hp. 👍 The 2JZ got that number on its second run. 🤣😂
@Youknow88 Mate, you didn't even know how much boost the Barra ran claiming only 27psi when it was 34.5psi. You're now claiming the Supra ran 50psi. 😂🤣 Just stop and quit while you're behind, the Supra beat it on its 2nd run with not even 1/2 the boost it had available to use. 😈😎 Also, pound for pound, that 4.0L 950hp motor (212.5hp/litre) got absolutely FLOGGED by a SMALLER 3.0L 1200hp motor (400hp/litre), deal with it. 💪

U guys should give the Toyota 1FZ a try
That Cressida is nuts. Sounds great and squats hard ! Haha
Them barras put out massive power nice work guys
I've slowly started falling in love with classic supra wheels.
I havent, they are disgusting
Fuk yes, who doesn't luv this channel. Awesome content all the time. 1200hp Supra, 950hp Aussie Barra....
Keep up the great work guys👍🤙
Not often you see that many clean Supras around these days, loved them! 💪💪
Hats off to that Barra! A shame that barra-powered Holden Ute didnt go for it
There's some awesome sleepers there. That bloody Cresida! What a fkcun nasty shock you'd get from that! Come in spinner - you're screwed!

Perfect 1200.0 HP. Just wow!
Anything making power like this deserves a medal😂😂

I think these are the only few engines that sound well making that power with only 6 cylinders 😂😂😂
whenis the next dyno day ?
Lucky for them all, nobody turned up with a twin turbo LS pink Torana, or a certain white Falcon with twin turbo's😎
its a shame that the barra never was only used here in australia

What gear box in that barra ute?

Dandy engines should have been there, lol
Unless I'm missing something why couldn't they dyno the VS when they could the VL. Is one running a different stud pattern?
From memory the Ute had 5/8in studs.
Yes thats right they need to suit a particular stud size/pattern.
The vs has custom Holden 5/8th studs, dyno had chev 5/8th hub adaptors.
