@The S......well their algorithm obviously works as last night I was viewing a Japanese guy playing this exact piece on electric guitar......then today, up pops Dave Celentanos version!
I've seen so many classically trained metal guitarists and the only reason they never took it far with classical was because they loved tapping too much. In classical guitar playing you have to grow your fingernails out so you can use them as picks so therefore no tapping. You brought metal back into a classical lovers life. Very well executed, very clean, and perfect tempo. Excellent!
Sure. Give me your email and I'll send you the first page. Once you've got that playable, make a short video of yourself performing the first page and send it to me. Once I see you can play it correctly I'll send you page 2.
I bought this guy's Flying Fingers on CASSETTE in 1995. I wore the tape out! Still to this day, Dave's the most talented 8 finger tapper I've ever heard.
The tablature and a complete lesson for this version of "Toccata and Fugue" is in my guitar instruction dvd "ASAP Two Hand Tapping" available on my web site shown at the front of this youtube video and amazon.com

One of the cleverest comments I've ever read.
I swear Bach was a metalhead back then
I agree!!!
No, the Metal guitarist of today are classical musicians.
Lmao hell yea man!!! 🤙🤘😂😂🤣🤣
Bach was a metalhead without electricity
The pipe organ was his synthesizer.
This is by far the best rendition to this piece on an electric guitar. It's glorious
Thanks and much appreciated!!!
Agree with that. . . . The most close to the organ's "feel" on those fast fiddly notes, very well played indeed.

Great rendition, but fugue, unfortunately, is incomplete...
