I bought a book by you transcribing this in 1998! I never did give it enough time. I'll dust it off and make it my 2023 resolution to learn T&FinDm and post it to UA-cam!
Phenomenal instructor! Incredibly organized, and always well prepared. He will help you hone your craft and ignite your passion for playing guitar. Highly recommended.
I grew up learning classical violin, so classical music has always been dear to my heart. Crossing over some famous classical songs onto non-traditional instruments is always enjoyable for me to hear. What an amazing performance!
@@wickedmusicbox Dear Dave, after seeing this, I went and got all your books. Your play style is amazing. However, what I have is classical guitar. I want to get my first electric guitar, which would you recommend as a starter for such music type?

Amazing performance! Enjoy some of changes made I guess to put his own park on the piece. But I must confess the tempo's where all over the place and not played evenly... to me it took away from how great this performance could have been despite how great it already was as he performed it. Great job! Just the speeding and slowing made it harder to enjoy along with a few of the embellishments here took away from the performance such as the rock strumming.. but obviously amazing work. I enjoyed the tapping and the shapes/ positions he used which to me gave a much closer tone to the original piece. Its One of the hardest pieces ever to perform. So Bravo! great job!
hi dave.. thanks to ur instructional videos..from truefire.. n other dvd videos i definitely learnt something from it. ( still learning btw).. ur my idol. ur teaching is simple n straightforward. thanks..
Hello from Italy, your Monsters (scales and modes) and Speed Metal gave me and huge help to improve my guitar skills. Thank you very much for inspiration! AZ PS I know that the tapping lick in "Shock'em dead" is yours!
Yes, but also known as 'Db'. The first part is from 'Toccata and Fugue' in D minor (Db minor here). The second section is from Pachelbel's 'Canon' in D major (Db major here)
I didn't like that one bit either, but why pick on the one weak few seconds of an otherwise stellar performance, rather than post an appreciative comment about what you did like (assuming you liked it at all)?
This is ammmazing!!!!! Thanks!!!
Thanks Jane!!!
This is why Dave Celetano is the guitar teacher's guitar teacher!
Wow!! Thanks for the kudos!!
Outstanding the audience in the palm of your hands.
Didn’t notice a phone recording either respect from the audience
I still have my copies of "monster scales and modes" and "killer pentatonics" that I got when I started playing in the early 90's!! This guy rocks!
Awesome and thanks Jason!!!
Love Bach Toccata and Fugue especially! The musical phrasing is so good and artistry isn’t lost in shredding.
Thank you!!

que maravilla amigo, anda que no aprendi yo cosas con tus libros que me los compraba para estudiar hace ya muchos años, un abrazo genio.

I wanna hear the Bach in FULL, that piece deserves it. With the tapping taking up most of the composition, it would be otherworldly.

Wow just found you today Dave seriously that was good. I’m a fan now thanks for that
Thanks so much Philip!!
The Master Tapper showcases remarkable skills and performs brilliantly.

Wow i found your channel 15 mins ago - each adaption of Toccata and Fugue was improved upon, you put a lotta work into this. Good stuff thank you.
Thanks for the positive comment and checking out my guitar channel!
Wow Well done.. Perfectly Awesome.
When shredding doesn't have to be 180bpm+. Fucking brilliant Dave!
wow that is uber great, hard to describe...super!!!!!!
Amazing Dave. Thanks a lot for sharing your talent.
Thank you Edu! Your UA-cam channel is impressive.

PS I know that the tapping lick in "Shock'em dead" is yours!
Thank you brother! Yes, I played the two hand tapping AND acoustic guitar parts in the 'Shock 'em Dead' movie.
@@wickedmusicbox nice to meet you on UA-cam. 👍🎸💥
I have his Flying Fingers guitar tutorial with C-cassette. Good old days and practiced that still do it now and then.
Same! Still doesn’t sound much like this though, I have to admit. Don’t think I have the cassette either, or anything to play it on!
Awesome, man! I discovered you by Shock Em Dead. I will download it right now
Thanks! That's a classic movie!
Dave as usual stunning playing if I were Eddie Van Halen I would still be very jealous at your two hand tapping technique. Brilliant love it!!
Wow!! Thanks for the kudos Graham!!!
Killer skills

On live very clean and speed very difficult j think that much guitar heros aren ''t. so clean about playing guitar like Dave Celentano. and Petrucci
Thanks Giovanni!
It´s hard to make classical music sound good on electric guitar. You´ve done a superb job !
Thank you sooo much!!!
You can see this guy doesn't use any ridiculous socks or wraps on his neck.
Dave on _sairaan_ nopee!
amps are best when set at "11"
2:35 they probably thought he was playing Green Day
Soulful thumb up
Зинчук здорового человека
สุดยอดดนตรีกับคนเก๋า
as I said, he must be an pianist :)
I get that a lot because of all the tapping I do, but actually I don't play piano or keyboards at all.
@@wickedmusicbox I am so honored sir, surely it was a bit bad joke...wish I could tap the way you do :) amazing stuff
@@spoqo No worries friend and thanks.
Dave, Are you playing in C# Major?
Yes, but also known as 'Db'. The first part is from 'Toccata and Fugue' in D minor (Db minor here). The second section is from Pachelbel's 'Canon' in D major (Db major here)
Waouh ,🙃.
Willem Dafoe play guitar?
Move over Eddie !
Bach gral dla Boga, ale w muzyce to ON byl Bogiem!!!
Good but problems with tempo.
No bad. Alex Masi more interesting.
0:42 god save me from this unneccessary metal base note strumming....
his original video is actually very sensible - cleaner tone as well

The palm muting was out of time too, didn't sound very professional.
I think this needs a lot more work, too many weak areas.
Tune your guitar, son.
