I’m still getting comments about not saying clear prop and not doing a 10nm call to the airport. Hopefully this can clear it up. I started the cameras after I did everything on my checklist which includes startup, pre taxi and run up. Clear prop is also in the start up so it is not in the video. I also gave a 10nm call out for maneuvers but I didn’t put it in the video for privacy of where I was. I hope y’all enjoy! I also love the tips too
Don't know ya but I'm happy for you video has gotten a lot of views! And you and your sister seem to have a good relationship and that's what makes the video so good
Graham: I have watched many videos of young pilots flying, and taking a passenger with them. I enjoyed watching yours the most because I noticed how well you and your sister get along with each other, as well as the fact that she trusted you as a pilot to begin with. And it was obvious that she enjoyed the flight !
I'm a student pilot with three older sisters and I will totally do that when I get my PPL. They already have similar reactions when I use flight simulators around them.
I can relate with freezing on the radio. It takes time to really master it. But it’s so important to think ahead, especially when dealing with towered airports.
Nice video, very calm and relaxed demeanor and looks like your sister had a blast taking pictures.....She's a cutie.......Ya'll be SAFE in the sky......God Bless
Thank you I really enjoyed this flight. I’m attending Princeton for the first time thru Gov x. This has been very exciting for me. It gave me a lot of freedom and excitement. I have worked the simulator at nasa with preschoolers. My children are grown now.
Congrats on the first video! Be a stickler for staying on that centerline on takeoff -- it'll prepare you for narrower runways and give you more buffer on crosswind takeoffs.
Hello. Beautiful video in a beautiful flight with the golden light of the evening. You started flying early, I also started at 17 years old in a C152. Congratulations on your flight and your beautiful sister. Hugs.
Wow, that's some incredible quality for your first video! I hope you do keep making more because then the aviation world will have more good content to watch. Also, congratulations on getting your certificate! But remember, your PPL is just a license to learn, so keep learning through your journey and you'll become an awesome pilot.
That pink and orange sunset lighting makes you both look amazing, like a dream or a perfect memory. I’m glad you made this video for your future kids. Just please be careful being so new to flying and with so many distractions in the cockpit. Any landings, takeoffs, or low altitude flying should be a sterile cockpit with no distractions. Looking forward to more videos.
Great video! So fun to watch the camaraderie between you and your sister. I find it interesting that the runways for Princeton, Cambridge and Rush City are all 16/34.
Nice job. It seems like you have a great relationship with your sister. I subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to new videos. Hello from Wyoming.
What a wonderful way to enjoy a summer evening! Graham Peterson and his sister Isabella's flight in a Cessna 172 sounds like a fantastic bonding experience. Exploring their hometown from the skies, with the sun setting in the background, must have created lasting memories.
Great video! Graham, don't listen to anyone who says negative comments about your flying. Great landing and you enjoyed time with your sister. AWESOME!
That's great that you are able to share your experience with your sister. Now, what you need to do is get your sister interested in becoming a pilot as well and follow her progress on your channel. We need more young ladies out there taking interest in flying. Good luck, have fun, and fly safe.
With clockwise propeller, due to the asymmetrical effects, makes the plane yaw to the left. Thus, we must apply the rudder to the right. And counter clockwise propeller is the opposite. FYI.
I dont even watch plane or aviation videos whatever you call this category but just cause yall seem so chill and well bonded i gotta sub and keep up with the vids lmao wish you the best of luck bro
great effort to get where you are at your age in earning your PPL. I'm about to start mine at 37. Also, being in a position where you can share that skill with your family is really special. nice work mate!

Just passed my check ride for ppl 6 weeks before turning 38.
The last minute and a half with the music and the off-to-the-side sunset shot was perfectissimo and super awesome! I dunno how many times I watched it. You should do more of that, please. Where can I get that instrumental music you used? That'd be perfect for running out in the open country. LOL, didn't expect the more recent video to be about hunting. A hunter-pilot--guess that makes you a... pilter.
Congratulations On your license!!. Good job! Remember to stay on the centerline when taking off. New pilots should always always follow your checklists and procedures. I don’t know why, but after new pilots get their license and get a couple hundred hours under their belt, they start feeling cockey and think they don’t need to follow the rules they learned. Then something happens to scare the hell out of them and they learn their lesson. Don’t be that pilot!!! Just some advice from an old guy. I want you to have a long and happy career flying! It is such a great hobby.
Your sister is awesome. Fully engaged. Very encouraging of you. Very trusting of you. The two of you seem to have a fantastic relationship which is wonderful to see. Keep practicing your flying. Is your goal to go commercial or fly private jets?
Heyo, I am a plane spotter/ aviation enthusiast down here in Chicago. I'm currently waiting for the summer so I can get my Private Pilots License (PPL), but for now I am going to keep plane spotting down here with my Nikon camera and some telephoto lenses. I am most definitely going to do this with my family when I do get my PPL.

Sometimes it's better to admit your mistakes instead of lying more.
i wish you did a prank on your sister flying but that would be too dangerous
@@JDBBB Why do you think he's lying? You armchair pilots need to learn when to keep your mouths shut.

brother pilot: check flaps | engine | dials
sister pilot: check nails | hair | phone
what could go wrong?

Beautiful moment with your sister, I really enjoyed this video. I was smiling all the time.
Great flying, Graham. The passenger completely at ease taking that sunset cabin shot :) Well done and great pilot voice!

Congrats on your private. A little more right rudder on take off will help you hold the centerline better.
My thoughts exactly
Poor guy gets his PPL and can’t get away from the “more right rudder”😭
