I love to see the owner of a business so passionate and invested in what he and his company are doing. Up at 0300, in the rain, after a late night, to make sure the job gets done. Fantastic stuff!
Micro managing is good BUT one thing you forgot to mention is the importance of treating your employee's right in situations like this. As you pointed out, this not what your company does but you expected your employees to help out, doing something they are not expected to do. I hope you give them financial rewards and/or good payment reviews when their performance reviews come up.

The cinematography in this was absolutely next level. The intro, the drone shots, the epic absolutely epic rolling shots of the trucks which look mega. Great video into the insights of the port workings from a truck perspective. Love the music. Everything about this mid week video is 🔥
I sincerely hope daniel is taking these journies and adventures and keeping them within his heart, not letting the fact that its "work" or "business" get in the way of his clarity, getting these missions lost in the nonstop bustle of the "grind" He's doing amazing things. Whenever I'm doing something new I always like to imagine a group of school kids watching in awe. Even imagine how when you were the younger group of kids at a museum on a school trip and you saw the older group of kids. Jealousy and how cool they looked. Then we just grow up and get thrown into the mix. There's still amazement to be found in seemingly mundane things.
well said, how cool would it be to be "ight ill go get my own damn trailer and get it myself" under those massive cranes and through all those security checkpoints and stuff, the amount of machinery and tools needed to get his toys off a ship that big 🥰
He's a workaholic. No way in hell he isn't enjoying this. To me providing a service, making things happen, operating machines, breaking, organizing, early rising and late sleeping is better than sex. I'm loaded with energy all day long. I do remodeling with my uncle. We're expanding fast and I never get tired. It's a powerful feeling of mental and physical pleasure beyond any drug or woman. Money is the biproduct and I don't think about it at any time of the day. Workaholics live for the grind and there's different types too. Some richer than others but we share the same love for work.
Hi, Hi Mr Ashville, My name is Paul, I'm from +254, I love your channel, you really do a great job. Kindly, I'm just requesting for a driver's job in your company, I will be glad Sir, thanks in advance.
Respect. We import several containers a month but I've never gone to the lengths of collecting from the port myself. Really interesting to see what the drivers have to go through down at Felixstowe. Our forwarder is generally getting containers into us within a week of docking despite the current mess. Haulage aside, I have spent plenty of time destuffing 40 footers and I have to say yours was looking pretty empty! They're usually crammed from floor to rafter! You could've saved yourself the money and put it in a 20ft! 😁Never thought about offloading with a shovel though! Gonna suggest we do that next time 😉
Interesting video but a word of warning from someone who works there, the port is very funny about unauthorised filming on there and actually employ people to watch socal media for videos like this. The fact you've got your Rhinds card on display with your details means they can and probably will ban you from coming onto the port again to collect containers. Just making you aware
You guys have gone above and beyond by showing the process you had to go through to pick up the merch. I’ve just ordered my hoodie but being as it’s 40 degrees calculus here I won’t have an opportunity to wear it for a while. Much love and respect from Australia! Keep kicking goals!!!
Got my water bottle and mugs ordered for some serious hot drinks. Seriously you do a great job Daniel and as someone working in construction I totally appreciate the positive lights you throw on our industry. I’m even barred from watching Asheville weekly till my 14 year old daughter comes to stay or else I’m in “serious “ trouble Keep up the great work
Managed to get my order in for merch. Excited for it to arrive. Loved this video too. Was great to see the process and amount of dedication and work put into this first batch of merchandise🙏🏼
Daniel work ethics is so high, i respect this hardworking man and his team everyone whom helped offload that container deserves a nice Christmas bonus.
Fantastic quality content, as always, Daniel! You and your team bring all the drama, tension and real life stress of this operation which most of us will never experience in our lifetimes, and with top notch video and audio quality to boot! Keep up the good work!
That's great how you are still involved to everything around... I love to watch process and helps me working out my ways of manage my deliveries and everything in my little business :) Have a great day ☕
You what I wanna see. I want a day in the life of Daniel relaxing. Just a day to chill. I don’t know anyone who works harder than this dude. Just setup a couple of cameras and have a relax day. I think that’s what we all want from you.
Big respect for doing what needs to be done, that’s how sh1t get sorted, show a man is serious 😜Some seriously good footage which must have been a bureaucratic nightmare to allow.
just putting my honesty here everything seems fairly priced apart from the hoodies at £60 a piece that is a lot for a hoody, a bit sad on my behalf as wanted one but sadly not at that price.
I've never bought any merch from anywhere but im seriously considering that mug and water tower. Crazy I came here from Yianni but now i look forward to your vids more than Yian's sorry Yian!
As soon as youve checked in with your vbs and got the printed ticked where to collect it you can literally fuck around as far as im aware there is no time limits...
Brilliant Merch, good prices, apart from the Hoodie, No way would i pay 60quid for a hoodie, sorry mate but not everyone can pay London prices for them, as good as they are, £60 is too expensive for a hoodie
You guys just keep getting better. Probably the best video you've released, this is some next level production from the cinematography all the way to the music. Well done to Daniel and his team. Only you guys can make collecting and offloading a container so entertaining lmao.
Should have reached out for container collection, company I work for have a freight forwarder and I drive out of Felixstowe port every day, sure we could have sorted something, next time maybe, good work though!
I would usually give you 10 out of 10 for your vids , but this was definitely an 11 out of 10 , really enjoyed it , by the way I just treated myself to a mug , can't wait to get it mate ,

If your guys took that drone footage themselves WITHOUT prior approval they are incredibly lucky they weren't shot, interrogated or arrested lol the port infrastructure is a high value target that could grind the country to a halt if attacked. Daniel you committed just about every no no and faux pas in Container Haulage possible lol but that's alright because everyone has to have a first time on port and the only way people learn is by doing. Your a master of all your other regular trades so we can let you off mucking up a new one a bit. Your life would have been so much easier if you asked a mate in Container Haulage to do this for you, but I understand CH is expensive these days and you wanted to make this video for us and that's why we appreciate you so much :) If you ever need a Container Haulier DON'T go for a Felixstowe based firm they always ask more money, look for a London or Even Northern based haulier, all CH firms will have vehicles back and forth to the docks daily that sometimes need to find loads to get home with and pay the truck time.
I was thinking the same thing. They got in trouble for flying their drone in their on yard, how the f*ck did they get approval to fly it over the port? But if they did it without approval AND no one noticed? That's terrifying.
What happens to the CXIC Chinese container now? Glad you got past the paranoid port police - everyone with a camera is a "danger" nowadays.. what an idiotic world. Great video.
Got to say I’ve been a fan of Asheville for a while now and it’s mad to see how you’ve grown in such a short space of time with UA-cam, the cinematics, the rate you upload and everything else. I can’t wait for a mid-week and of course Asheville Sunday as I call it. Keep the good work up lads 👍🏼
I know Daniel likes quality Coffee. Have you considered having a Coffee company create some blends for some Asheville branded coffee? Serious coffee for Serious people.
Why would people buy merchandise of a construction company. Your paying for it and company getting free advertisement. Most companies give it away for free.
Daniel could you do a video on how you designed these toys especially on how you engaged with and dealt with finding a suitable manufacturer, it would be super interesting to understand the process!! Love your videos keep it up!!
Hi Daniel. Thank you so much for all your hard work. I've just ordered some of your great merch and I can't believe how easy it was to order. Not a lot has gone right for me this year but I'm so happy I can bring someone a big smile this Christmas thanks to you. I love the hard work you put in but paying for a 40fter when the merch wasn't enough to fill a 20fter is a waste of money surely

That's why it takes so long to collect one box from the port .
