His a legend. Met him once for work my boss sent me around to drop something off and the guy treated me like I was his school friend. He was so welcoming!
Was driving on the A30 towards the M25 in Staines the other day and had an Ashville Lorry behind me - first time encountering one on the road!. Quite impressive in real life to be able to make a connection between the videos and the brand!
I'm loving the weekly's, always entertaining and never dull hahaha. In all fairness there's a lot I take away from Ashville's video's but the one thing I take away that's really helped me in work and business is keeping a positive mindset even when the 'dish is deep' as Daniel would say. Love the content as always 👍💪😎
You have made more business sense in this video than any before. Competing on Quality not Cost is the way to go if you want to last. Bottle mixers are also the way to if you want to do volume pours. I take my hat off to you sir. I had doubts but I know you can do it now.
Someone looking over you Daniel! Glad you're getting a rebate! Should fill the hole the firm that stiffed you left!! My old man always said if you have a tenner in your pocket someone's loosing sleep over wanting it. Great to see it go the other way
I always love the opening clips 😂.....OK this woman is ready for her weekly dose of big machines, epic engineering and general awesomeness....let's GO!!!
I came across your channel showing a train getting unloaded, but now I watched a few and learned you do many different things in your business, thanks for breaking down business decisions and why things are done a certain way. I’m a union carpenter in NYC, but have had a construction business in the past but realized I was in way over my head. So I appreciate any knowledge your dropping on us viewers.
As a construction company owner, I agree 👍 💯 with you. In construction it's not worth reducing your price to get jobs. It's absolutely costly overall and unprofitable. The reduction in value of your equipments, the time and energy it consumes it's not worth it at all.
Awesome video once again Daniel and the Ashville video team !! Nice to see Simone back at work, hope that Simon, Lisa and their little one continue to flourish as a family unit. Thank you for brightening up our Sundays Daniel and the team. Big up to tezza from a fellow guy named Terry, my Sundays would not be the same without my Ashville Weekly fix !!
As Queen Jacqueline would say "Know your worth". Something I learned this year with the rise in diesel and our chemical cost. We have had to raise our prices and have turned down big name jobs that are just looking for the cheapest price. We have generally found the clients that stay with us even though we have raised our prices are the ones worth having for life. The ones looking for the cheapest price generally try to get the most out of you they can and treat you the worst.
Wow! It's been a while since I've seen a centre steer truck! I used to drive one for a council contractor, it was great because they had 2 of them but no one else would drive them so if mine was in for repair or service I immediately had a clean, reliable back up. The only downside was every time I took annual leave you could guarantee a agency driver would write off a car or traffic island 😂😂
Great video. Fantastic news on the rebate. Happy 6 years to Ashville Concrete seems like the concrete side of business is booming atm. I think you’ve done the right thing regarding certain jobs. Keep up the great work
Because your running 3 businesses on the same site. You could separate the business rates for each of the businesses. saying this part of the yard is being used by this business and this part of the yard is being used by this business. This will most likely entitle you to Small Business Rate Relief depending on the site of the space. (I once worked for my local council as a business rate advisor).
DanieI I too have now moved to FOR PROFIT only jobs since about a year ago. As a construction firm you must draw the line once you've got enough projects in your portfolio to show your competency, creativity and durability of your works to set your price and walk away from anyone and anything that can't meet that ask...
For episode 100 you should do the yard journey, where you started, how you developed it, what it looks like now and where you hope to go from there e.g continue to develop it or move to a bigger space and other plans for the future.
Hi Daniel love the show. Keep up the good work. Just need to point out it is the Valuation Office Agency and not local authorities that set the Rateable Value. Local authorities collect and administer Business Rates but it’s the VOA who ultimately decides what is charged. That’s why the Council had no problem paying the money back. I work for a local authority and deal with many irate Business Rates payers who believe the local authority is trying to fleece them when their RV is set too high. Just to add rate payers are even more angry with LAs when the VOA increases the RV.
The financial side of Asheville is obviously extremely costly and it’s great how he breaks down costs, so to be overcharged £30,000 pa is a god dam liberty!! Glad you got that sorted 👌🏾 #councildemteef
That’s a brilliant result getting a rebate back from the council, I was waiting to see if penfold was going to “jump the pin” on the trailer 😂, happy birthday to concrete
Love ashville so much, some channels I’ve gone off but ashville is going strong,I work in the construction industry so I find it really interesting.love when we get a bumper episode when there nearly an hour.keep up the serious work guys 👍🏻
Daniel that’s great news about the business rates refund! Ashville lives to fight another day! 💪🏼👍🏼 I’m a Christian and I’ve been praying that God would help you guys! God is good. 😊
I'm just a one woman e-waste processing and metal recycling tiny tiny channel and even for me, getting a video out evey week can be a pretty big commitment around work and family etc (but I do because I actually love it so the commitment for me is ok) but when time is actually money like for you then that is a BIG deal and a totally different thing. People will just be happy whenever your videos come out but yes, editing as you go along can actually save you a big block of time at the end! Another fab episode, those electric trucks were looking like sci-fi territory from the original total recall lol🙃
Hi Daniel, I'm from Cape Town, South Africa. Been watching your content since 2021 with the sticker man's house. I am an engineer for a mining company. We use the bottle mixers. We also have the plants but we set them up as a movable plant, to enable it to be moved closer to sites to bring down the cost/ton. If you have any questions I would gladly help free of charge. We use SAP as a asset management tool.
I think with the videos taking up time, its a careful balance between delegating the process to someone else, and getting it the way you want it to be. Fine balance to be reached, however, I think you'll find that before long.
Try getting the water board to show how much water is going to sewer as you use water for concrete making? Example 20% at meter for toilet washing use.The rest will be charged for sewer processing but..not the case as use use water for concrete making. $$$ to be gained.
Great content as always 👏 Dan your right it's time to step back from the weekly and how much time you actually devote to producing ashville weekly. Even the sticker man took time out from his UA-cam weekly episodes. Have you ever thought about doing seasons and episodes as and when needed? Like Charlie Sloth does? Creating social media content is full time work. With you running a business such as Ashville maybe it's time to take a step back and focus on creating special episodes once a month.
At 26:35 that guy was going to steal your camera And at 26:42 you can see him changing his mind, plus you can hear his buddy's motorcycle ready to take off
Are you buying more additional trucks or not? A good mix of brand is also a good thing because if there is a recall or other issue with 1 brand you can keep going with the other brand of trucks
33:00 The Delorean and BMW are there on a display by ECC- Electric Classic Cars ⚡️ who were on the television series called Vintage Voltage featuring Richard (Moggy) Morgan and Peter Greaves aka Petrol Ped. Moggy has his own screaming vdub pickup which is amazing. Shame you'd not heard of them Daniel, I think you'd have enjoyed a chat with Moggy.
Damn and blast, if I'd gone to Fully Charged Live I could have met two or more of the accounts I'm subscribed to!! Last time i was at Farnborough I flew there from RAF Northolt, that was one of the perks of the job!
Enjoy Boaty McAshvilleFace. How many 4 stroke ponies does it take to push that hunk of metal around a pond? Also tell Terry that there are easier ways to catch fish.
Volvo has an electric version of the fmx that has a total weight for truck and trailer on 44 tons. It would be fun to see you test one. This is in Sweden so it might not be in England yet.
Speak to Guy Nicholls TRU 7 (Ipswich) they have just got in to concrete mixers, and run mixers that they replace every 2 years. Your 2 Volvo tippers started life with them lol
I was chating with a mate about the diesel change from red to white, he runs his machines on biodiesel just a thought maybe it will work for you Daniel .
I Am a former Electrician/ Secirity sstems instaler. So many people want cheap good and when they fail they want a refund or a freebie or slate you're company whoever does the job
It has occurred to me that you seem to have far more hours in your week than the rest of the world, but then i remembered you dont sleep and that explains it!
Nice to Michael o’donavan in the ashville meeting fair play to him for supporting 😂
Please give me job opportunity it's my humble request please
Michael o’donavan is just gold you need that bloke in every ep it brilliant you should make segment out of it
For Real!
His a legend. Met him once for work my boss sent me around to drop something off and the guy treated me like I was his school friend. He was so welcoming!
@@sercanserj7804 that's awesome!
Asheville weekly with the o’donavan hour
Irregular guys
All mighty Michael O’Donavan chooses when he leaves the screen hahaha. Keep up the good work Ashville, another great episode
I thought the same thing
I wondered how long O’Donovan was gonna stay on the screen for 😂
Was driving on the A30 towards the M25 in Staines the other day and had an Ashville Lorry behind me - first time encountering one on the road!. Quite impressive in real life to be able to make a connection between the videos and the brand!

Was waiting for Daniel to bring out his video as always on Sunday while eating my breakfast, Thank you Daniel and to your team 😊
Exactly the same lol.
82 in and still absolutely loving them!! Dreading that 100 mark!! Keep smashing it lads!👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Asheville weekly with the o’donavan hour is needed 😂

This is the best construction 🚧 company show in the world 🌎. Daniel is the best boss. 👌
As Queen Jacqueline would say "Know your worth".

❤🙌🏾
O’Donovan is my favourite part of this show.
Wow! It's been a while since I've seen a centre steer truck!

Looking forward to another brilliant episode!
we all do

I’ve been following you for years now and doing an incredible work . Tombs up
Happy Birthday Asheville concrete🥳🥳 love watching these videos every week! Good work
The candid chat with you and Tezza in your office was nice to see 👍 bun the council
The financial side of Asheville is obviously extremely costly and it’s great how he breaks down costs, so to be overcharged £30,000 pa is a god dam liberty!! Glad you got that sorted 👌🏾 #councildemteef
Congrats on over 350k subs! That’s incredible
Monday I’m in the yard. That has to be your official catchphrase 🤣
That’s a brilliant result getting a rebate back from the council, I was waiting to see if penfold was going to “jump the pin” on the trailer 😂, happy birthday to concrete

Daniel, good to see you not falling for ''vanity'' projects that do not make money.
Great content as always 👏 Dan your right it's time to step back from the weekly and how much time you actually devote to producing ashville weekly. Case in point, Ashville weekly is going to finish at 100 episodes to focus on the company.
Nice and early to the video this week. Once again Daniel great video👍🏼
Best reality show.
Ashville developments are quality
Loved watching you on tik tok, really enjoying your UA-cam channel
@3:49 - AwesomE jobs!!!! Elegant and beautiful!
Ashville sunday love it💯
Michael o’Donovan once got hit by a volumetric concrete lorry going full speed… It bounced off him and turned into a Bottle Mixer
Great content, thanks for all the videos! Learnt a lot of things as well
How do you know it's great content if you haven't seen it yet?
I meant all the time, like every Ashville weekly is great content
Good morning Daniel I'm ready!!!!
You need to let the video team take on more of the finished result that what you pay them for. I know its hard to let go but sometimes you have to.
28:30 You're building Skip Boat - can't wait to see this one!
At 26:35 that guy was going to steal your camera
And at 26:42 you can see him changing his mind, plus you can hear his buddy's motorcycle ready to take off
i got in to watching your vides because of one of your house show case and i have been hooked every sins that
Are you buying more additional trucks or not? A good mix of brand is also a good thing because if there is a recall or other issue with 1 brand you can keep going with the other brand of trucks
Seen your artic today on the a40 coming out off London
They are a fine looking lorry
Not the usual boring looking white with a few decals
👍

My granda worked for delorean in Belfast assembling them. The old factory and test track is a couple of mins away from my house too 🙂
Damn and blast, if I'd gone to Fully Charged Live I could have met two or more of the accounts I'm subscribed to!! Last time i was at Farnborough I flew there from RAF Northolt, that was one of the perks of the job!
I love the o'donavan geezer.
This had me dying "Because what we're gunno do like bring 60 taps in here" 😂
I feel a book deal coming from Daniel…”The Art of Survival”… 🤣
THUMBNAIL OP 🔥🔥🔥🔥
EV live!! What do you think of the future of lorries going Electric??
How long do you think it will be before you buy some electric lorries?
Train Offload montages are the best part of Ashville weekly!
What happened to Terry's assistant Cameron wasn't it?
You need to talk to your cement supplier Cemex I’m sure they will have some old batching plants in mothballs that could be upgraded.
Enjoy Boaty McAshvilleFace. How many 4 stroke ponies does it take to push that hunk of metal around a pond? Also tell Terry that there are easier ways to catch fish.
Mike Myers endorses Ashville, I'm sure of it.
Third eye vibes and that ting
Anymore good news for me 🤣🤣🤣 loved it
Volvo has an electric version of the fmx that has a total weight for truck and trailer on 44 tons. It would be fun to see you test one. This is in Sweden so it might not be in England yet.
44t on an EV will tank the mileage per charge though. Current truck in the UK get 700 miles fully loaded 44t
16:55 Lovely dog ❤️❤️❤️
I'm watching it since episode 1
Man's turned a train offload into a inception moment😄
Anuff already with the trains 🚂 coming in - any chance of you getting on the train 🚂 and just going somewhere for a long long time 🤣
Speak to Guy Nicholls TRU 7 (Ipswich) they have just got in to concrete mixers, and run mixers that they replace every 2 years. Your 2 Volvo tippers started life with them lol
I was chating with a mate about the diesel change from red to white, he runs his machines on biodiesel just a thought maybe it will work for you Daniel .
Howdy from 🇦🇺
Just got £150.rebate from council tax…..might have to go back and say where is the other £29,850 that Daniel got 👍🏽
I Am a former Electrician/ Secirity sstems instaler. So many people want cheap good and when they fail they want a refund or a freebie or slate you're company whoever does the job
