Rocabar is a great shout. It was the perfume that got me into perfumes 20 years ago. I've had it in all its different packaging and reformulation and still have a classic bottle. It's such an elegant number. The benzoin and vanilla in the base are such a great treat after the cypress and balsam have moved to the side.
You sing better than most bands/singers today!

Guerlain Heritage is wonderful. The EDT is my preference, it has a brighter opening. The EDP is more dense and wood heavy.
Rocabar is a great scent. I still have about 20ml from a battle i bought in 2000

I'll say Guerlain Heritage is in the same general vibe genre's as Givenchy Gentleman 1974 but it smells nothing like it. Givenchy Gentleman smells like you bathe in cat pee. Sharply animalic, and too much so for me. Sort of like that dang Versace L'homme. Heritage is really great. My second favorite Guerlain behind Vetiver.
Hermes Rocabar is next on my to-buy list. I'm afraid of Bel Ami because I hear it's quite animalic. Is Rocabar as animalic funky as Bel Ami?

Dan - have you seen the 2019 French-made movie 'Perfumes?' Is a good movie, I think. There's a slight reference in it that the main character is, or is someone 'like' Calice Becker from Dior, but I don't think that is all that accurate in terms of 'actual' RL, but the story is still very good. Not deep deep when it comes to fragrances but not too bad either. And funny.
