Thank you for posting! I have the same TDF bike and I just replaced the bearings on the front. I was getting a grinding metal-to-metal feel and sound and I thought it was the front bearings (one was bad) but the grinding is still happening. Now I think it's the flywheel pulley at the back. Thanks to your video I see that it's easy to replace. I'll order a replacement. In case I need to replace the bearings in the back, how are they removed?

If you’re hearing the grinding sound even you stop pedalling it is obviously at the back, flywheel area. The front bearing is like the crank area, if there is a problem there you will notice it when you pedal.
You can check the bearings, probably dried. Just regrease it. You can remove the bearings by hammering the spindle little by little. I suggest using a soft hammer. Examine the bearings if you feel it is already worn out then it is time for you to change it. Apply also grease on the spindle before you install everything back.
Also check thoroughly the alignment of the flywheel when you install it back.
Below you can find the tensioner bolt. You have to loosen the tension before disassembling. Make sure you mark the bolt threads so it would be easy for you to put it back in the same tension after.

@@jojobiketech1674 I'll take the Freewheel Pulley off tomorrow and inspect it. I have a feeling I'll need a new one. I was afraid to take off the wheel but thanks to your video, I know how to remove it now. Thank you.

So, I tried to remove the Freewheel Pulley (you made it look easy) but it only came out about 1/2". I spun it and it was smooth. I pushed back in and it was rough. So I'm not sure if the Freewheel Pulley is OK and the bearing is bad, or if both are bad. Is there a trick to removing the Freewheel Pulley? If I need to replace the sealed bearings, how do I remove them? I guess it involves removing the decal on the right side of the wheel and removing the screws that hold the two halves of the wheel together? Then I can push the Freewheel Pulley and the bearing out from the backside of the wheel?

What is the tool that you used to remove the crank arm?

Thank you for posting! I'm interested in if you have any ideas about my problem. When I start the bike and begin a session the magnet hood comes down over the wheel and provides resistance for about 5 seconds. Following that the magnet hood moves up and there is literally zero resistance. If you wait long enough for the speed to decrease, the magnet hood will move back down and provide resistance for

First you can check at the display if it is indicating a any error message.
Some probable problems would be LOW BATTERY. Try to check the batterys of the monitor/screen which you can find below.
Other probable cause might be END OF PROGRAM OR INTERVALS. It that is the case you need start a new program or interval.
