Just wanted to give you my idea. I was a single mom for many years. Every Friday I made homemade Friday night pizza, I still do. I have one grown son still living at home, and the other brings his girlfriend and come home for my pizza! No, not Italian, I'm from Norway. Do you have a mixer? Pull that out of the cupboard. Use approx. 4 dl of flour, 1 bag of dry yeast, 2 table spoons of olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Let that go in the mixer, while you chop up your toppings of choice. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes. Roll it out on a baking sheet on the baking tray. Onions, peppers, sausages, ham, whatever you have on hand, that could be good on a pizza. Top it with cheddar cheese or gouda Sprinkle a little oregano on top, in the oven for 25 minutes on abour 200 degrees celcius. Super easy and super good. 🙂
Ahh thank you, this sounds like such a nice idea and it would be lovely to start a tradition like that, I’m going to give it a go! You’re clearly an amazing mum since your son comes to join you still for this 😊😊 thank you xx
@ Thank you! Pretty sure you’re an amazing mum too. I was raising them alone, as their father passed away when they were 5 and 6 years old. Guess it’s why our bond is so strong 💕💕💕
I’m feeling extremely low today and for some reason I find you so comforting to watch. Thank you. ❤ Great to see your lovely face back!
Awe I’m so sorry to hear you’re having a rough day, but I’m glad I could brighten it even a little bit. I really hope tomorrow is better for you ❤️
@ Thank you, lovely! 🙏🏼 ❤️
Good luck 🎉 I have been on the Use it up before buying more for a while, bathroom and cleaning products were the main ones for me. 😊
I don’t buy everything new in September for the new school year, I do always buy new polo tops as these usually look quite worn after a year but I just replace items as they are needed throughout the year! I feel like there’s a pressure to replace everything in September but they might not go up a shoe size until January or their backpack might be fine for another year. I think it teaches kids about over consumption too ☺️
A friend just sent me this to watch and it’s been really thought provoking. I have a stationery problem too! I also buy things I don’t need but I like, I start courses and don’t necessarily finish them. I have started to try to use things up before I buy more of the same and will try to really stick to that. I am aware my buying of what my OH calls UIP’s (unnecessary impulse purchases) tends to be triggered when I’m feeling low so I will start to tackle that issue too. Thank you for a great video😊
I found that saving things on Pinterest or online window shopping (putting things in a basket then leaving it and forgetting about it) really scratches that impulsive shopping itch for free (most of the time!)
Ah that’s so lovely to know 😊 thank you for watching! I’m going to keep some of my empties and make sure I kind of celebrate getting to the end of a note book or shampoo bottle! Hopefully that’ll cement it in my head not to buy until I actually need a new one 😆 my emotions are definitely a huge trigger for my unnecessary purchases too! Hope you have a lovely week ahead xx
That’s such a good idea!!
Good luck Yasmine. Really rooting for you ❤
It's really refreshing to see this mindset in a world of overconsumption and buying the latest things.
Thank you so much! Yeah I think I’ve been so brainwashed due to so many years working in retail 🤣 I’ve always wanted all the things, but it’s definitely quite liberating to start shifting that mindset ☺️☺️ thanks so much for your kind words x
@@YasmineCamilla Yeah totally! I remember thinking outfit repeating was the worst thing in the world and ended up in so much debt with buy now pay later services!
Keep up the good work ❤❤
Thank you! xx
Great goals for 2025!
Love this
I thought you fell off the earth....so happy your back.
4 stone…wow. A huge achievement however you have lost this. Well done!! X.
