It's great we were finally able to receive a favored character in his outfit related to the saga, but where is the new engineering? Are they saving his first armor 3.0 for a Super Vegeta perhaps? Or is it not even in scope

Wish they werent afraid to break the sculpt and just make the armor a part of the butterfly-joint. I get they wanna keep it intact for aesthetic purposes though, but this way he seems very wide on the upperbody, also the shoulders are super big
One thing that I have learned about this fan base from collecting these figures for almost 10 years now, they are very entitled and very unsatisfied most of the time regardless of how much you try to appease them. They expect absolute perfection every single time and that it’s just not realistic. They are far quicker to be ungrateful rather than them to be grateful for even giving us these figures at all. They are quick to find a fault rather than finding the good in a figure. You’ll never be happy as a collector if you demand perfection out of every single figure that releases that does not have your exact specifications for what you think things should be in a figure. The crying face is one of the most emotional moments we ever got from Vegeta so this is an incredibly rare opportunity to see a figure of him looking like this. He was a hard dude, and he was about to die when pleading with Goku to stop Frieza after telling Goku he had basically lived a life enslaved by Frieza. Just feel like the outrage really isn’t justified with this figure, the proportions need to be the same as the previous release because it’s not like he got a change in his physical parents in such a short amount of time, literally the same day as having the armor on from the previous figure.
I partially agree. While I do think that the fanbase is quite entitled, I can't exactly blame them for being unhappy with how Tamashii has been doing their figures with the price, exclusivity and QC. This Vegeta could have very well been a general release especially considering how this design has been wanted for a while now (this is the first time we've gotten this design as a figure in the 16 years SHF has made DBZ figures.) And it just makes it so much harder to get when it doesn't need to be, especially with how annoying pbandai already is to order from (10 dollar shipping and upfront payment with the item usually being marked up significantly from the Japanese release.)
As for the price, that's another issue, I don't think it's a problem to expect more innovation for a 60+ dollar figure that Tamashii hypes up as an exclusive yet doesn't make it feel like how an exclusive should, and more like an excuse to charge people extra and save on manufacturing, filler if you will, which is especially bad since this version of Vegeta is widely loved. I love this variant of Vegeta, and the figure too but it's hard for me to justify spending such a huge amount of money with today's economy when what I get doesn't seem worth it, the shoulders look funky (they have done this right before, I don't know what happened), the upper torso is also very weird looking (cause of the gaps), and then the legs are so bad on these Vegetas, where you have to mod them just to get normal range, and then you got the infamous Vegeta *Ankles*. Overall will probably still pick this up since it's the only one avaliable, but I don't know how much enjoyment I'll get out of him outside of the bias for this Vegeta I have.
@@Volatile619 agreed man. If im paying a mortgage payment for action figures i expect them to be high quality for the price im paying. But a lot of the sh figuarts community is pretty chill just ignore anthonys customs that guy is just a little whiner
Well I mean we're paying our money for these figures. God forbid we give criticism. Although I do agree that some people will never be happy and get off on complaining, there are also people out there that are giving valid criticisms and are being bunched in with the people who will never be happy and that is not fair IMO. These figures aren't cheap. A lot of these releases are being slapped with the P-Bandai label just so they can charge more knowing we'll buy it anyway. There's no reason why Vegeta's should be P-Bandai. It's just them being greedy at this point. Don't get me wrong, I love Bandai I'm just calling it out for what it is as are others.
I'm so sick and tired of everybody BITCHING about the 3.0 body, any figure that comes "NO 3.0 BODY?!?" Like shut the FUCK UP, that beefy ass thick ass body doesn't fit every character in DBZ, the demoj8acal fit goku with "3.0" body looks so stupid
@@SemiColin-Ytwe should at least expect them to look like premium figures. i received the mecha frieza recently and thats the quality they should all be.
But at least the db line is getting treated better than the berserk one.

My biggest gripe again is the dam shoulders. Why do they not use SSJ trunks shoulders? He is not that bulky. It’s soo annoying
Yeah this is definitely gonna sell well atleast here in the states. This is the vegeta everyone wanted, I got 24000 and i see why people are kinda over this mold for 2.0. Tamashi is making BANK with these 2.0 vegeta’s and goku’s. He looks good though if you look at reviews his height is Beautiful! He stands very short as he should be. This fig looks less wide in the chest aswell in contrast to 24000.
I should’ve used that money on the upcoming tosen Trunks/vegeta or a 3.0 SH ssj4 vegeta.
I don't know where that free shipping coupon is. It would be nice but I don't have anything which kind of sucks. I'm torn whether or not I want to get this Vegeta or just stick with the superhero version and inevitably just replace the eye decals.

I bought this in a second as I couldn’t wait for this version. I tried to buy the boob customs kit for this on Xianyu but it sold out and I was given a refund. I wish they updated the terrible ankle articulation. That was my same complaint for the latest Namek Vegeta.
I am very excited for this vegeta glad i skipped the other vegeta my favorite vegeta look. I plan to see if i can do ssj namek vegeta by switching the tonsenarttoys ssj vegeta headsculpt unfortunate so much is on p-bandai though.
