This is an episode of the short-lived ABC martial arts series "Sidekicks" starring Ernie Reyes, Jr. and Gil Gerard of Buck Rogers fame. Police Sergeant Jake Rizzo is chosen by a wise old master (Keye Luke) to mentor his grandson Ernie, who is the last heir to an ancient martial art.
Ernie is less than thrilled about Jake's new love interest, but maybe there's more to her than meets the eye.

hey thank you so much for this you have no idea how long i have been searching for this all i found on youtube were episodes cut up into pieces and missing the opening and closing credits and the video quality was crap i actually just searched for this on the internet archive site but again they were missing either the opening or closing credits so they were useless anyway thank you for finding this show and posting it many many thanks
