Ernie always deserved to be mentioned amongst the cinema greats. Electric knight, tmnt 2, and the last dragon are some of the building blocks of my youth.
Don't forget surf ninjas lol
I did love his character in TMNT 2 tho
Don’t forget Red Sonja!
💛
Fond memories growing up watching Ernie on tv
Great father/son performance!
Best ever
Martial arts Legends!
Oh my God this is crazy This is my instructor! Teacher... A.k.a karate sensei.
@THE MARTIAL ARTS CHANNEL it’s a freestyle kata. So there’s a bit of wushu and tkd in there.
Little Ernie, and little Tiger bring back some good memories.
80s and 90s forever
Ive always looked up to this dude. Being Mexican and short and loving the ninja turtles. He's one of the reasons I got into martial arts despite being really short. I can still be a badass.
Erie Reyes Jr is Filipino.
@@RocketmanRockyMatrixHe most definitely is
Yes, They are from Filipinos. Reyes is Spanish translate "Kings". An old generation. When Spain went to Philippines in 1521. I'm from Puerto Rico. Spain went to PR in 1508 or 1509.
The guy probably takes the phrase “Let’s Dance” literally. Those hits were on point with the music. Gold.
They’re supposed to be for his showcase. Freestyle competitive sets like this are meant for creativity and display of technique.
I remember going to Ernie Reyes seniors apartment one time I think it was in Campbell California with Donald Yi and some other students and Ernie was just a little baby back then Ernie Jr that was he went on to do great things his father was an excellent and is an excellent instructor
Just watched him in High Way to Heaven season 3 episode 4.
Great Actor
His father was in Surf Ninjas as the guy in the eye patch.
For the guys just now posting or seeing this this video is old from back in 1983 yes he became a master and is a master he starred in several shows and movies including ninja turtles and most recently run down with the Rock.. He Liz a legend and won several tournaments and now continues to teach with his father
Real warrior..
The music 😂
Damn he got skillz even when he was a kid
I’ve seen his father’s moves and he has great reason to have had skills at that age.
Legend
In the future is this guy a Master of kung fu.
I liked him in Red Sonya
The kid of sidekicks tv series and the 90's tmnt 2 , amazing skills
Vitor Hugo lets not forget he was in Red Sonja with Arnold Schwarzenegger and The Last Dragon
Remember Bend your knees, use your arms.
Also he was one of the cemetery guards from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Amazing
One of my drivers delivers to his house in Santa Clara. 😂
1983 hmmm Pamiętam film z nim
The truth!! 💯
Wow Ernie Reyes Jr. is really good. I wonder what degree of martial art he is
Hes a master bro...grew up watching him in early 80's .almost died not too long ago. Dudes an icon
Competed in muay thai, he is a master at taekwondo and karate
He totally reminds me of Bolo Yeung. (Chong Li)
Look, an actual Karate kid.
I meet him and Kevin Eastman
Isn't that the choreography he used in the Last Dragon.
Yeah it sure is, I especially remember that secret handshake part
Those are the same moves and the similar music in that episode of “Sidekicks”. (The one in which Ernie is the opening act for El DeBarge)
If this was in 1983 wouldn't he be eleven years old since he was born on January 15 1972.
Grant Koblis dare on vid could be wrong, or he could’ve lied like Van Damme’s master used to do
Grant Koblis in the grand scheme of things , where there are much greater concerns at hand like world hunger, child abuse and other things does his age really fucking matter?
"Did I mention i studied martial arts?"
Is that casey kasem ive never seen him so young
The name of the song, please...
WTH he’s using the intro song to Staying Alive With John Travolta
Holy Crap Casey Kasem. You all might be too young to remember him. lol! #google
The OG Shaggy.
damn Ernie could've done well in mma...
🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

Vintage.
cmon bro..lets do this..
I guess he didn’t need a stunt double for the last dragon 😂 oh and the adult next to him, was he also in the last dragon?
Yea, that's his dad
@@psualmamater1793 his father was not in the last dragon with him!
Most definitely that's his Dad. His dad also was in the Movie Surf Ninjas with him as well. This time only to fight with him
@@ronjones3184 he was but he has a short scene in it
But isn't Ernie Reyes a taekwondo black belt ??? So why called karate exhibition when the guy is a taekwondo master ??
1:08 Naruto run? :D
Does Anyone who went to Earnie Reyes schools WC remember what we called these sequences. In my head they’re called polygades but I know that’s not right. I was a student from 1994-1999
I heard Micheal Jackson crossed him off his invite list after seeing this.
😂😂😂😂
@@clamshell6863 Maybe because Michael Jackson would have been afraid to try to touch him.
@@ropongi1008 was that supposed to be funny?
Woah, scripted. They weren't even close to touching each other. Fakee
No shit. Ya think? Every demo is always choreographed.
@@e.l.norton I don't think that was meant to be taken seriously.
This was a father and son. Both became actors in the late 80's and 90's.
I swear this generation have lost their common sense. God you’re an idiot.
