As New Zealander\Queenstowner I have to say that the only reason we didn’t get attacked in world wars is because all the other countries were scared of BOB.

bob semple with the 37mm (not built but designed) could actually work as a Rank 1 Premeium vehicle (decent gun) with lots of crew so its survivable enough and wouldn't be as bad considering they added the BM-8-24 in the game
@@simselmore5625 people always bring up the corrugated steel. But I think it’s unfair to image the Bob semple having that armor while in service. Everyone seems to forget that the Bob Semple tank was merely a prototype. Had it seen service, they likely would’ve given it some of the armor plating that they were importing from Australia.
So hear me out on the Bob Semple Japan generally didn’t use tanks when conducting initial amphibious landings (which they would’ve had to do since, yknow, New Zealand is an island), they would establish an initial beachhead and then bring the tanks up afterwards to support their infantry, same for their towed artillery The Bob Semple is basically a somewhat mobile pillbox immune (in theory) to small arms fire and armed with a fuck ton of machine guns pointed in all directions I believe that the Japanese infantry, pretty much only equipped with small arms (most likely light mortars too but cross that bridge) dealing with these things whilst conducting an amphibious landing would honestly be kind of terrifying and somewhat reasonably effective, at least for a little while In short, the Bob Semple very possibly not have been complete trash had it come to the New Zealanders having to use it
It's still awful. NZ could have just made a meh armoured car and achieved the same goal but with better results. Or better yet, import actually competent models.
A good design change would have been turn it all around. Remove all the gunners from behind, put one to each side (or in corner like ball ports), another one to the front, driver and a Turret with either a 7mm, a 12mm or a 37mm. Considering most Japanese tanks weren't very armored, a 12.7mm would have been a pretty useful. Reducing 3 members of the original 8 would remove quite a weight from such a small boyo, and it would have been a, at least, somewhat competent tank for anti-infantry desings. However, as Bob Semple said, "I don’t see anyone else coming up with any better ideas"
@@bamboozlednoodle6513 if they couldn't even make an armoured car then what hope would they have for producing these? Anyway, the Japanese were quite good at amphibious landings and they did have to fight the tanks of the allies probably on beachheads, so I don't see how the Bob fucking Semple would achieve something that the M4 Sherman, Stuarts, and light British tanks couldn't. British and US territories were overrun even with competent tanks, so the Bob Semple wouldn't have changed this trend in any way.

If the M2A2 is in the game there’s no reason this thing shouldn’t be either. If armor degradation actually worked like it should it would be really fun.
I am from New Zealand, Christchurch to be exact, If they don't implement an actual NZ tree, we do have the Iroqouis Helicopters, we flew Hudsons, Corsairs, Spitfires, Catalinas etc, they should make a Commonwealth Tech Tree, NZ and Australia could have all the benefits of an actual tech tree, kind of like South Africa on the British tree or Finland on the Sweden tree.
