Given it costs almost 2 tokens to race change ($25 in the US, £19 in the UK v £10 for a token), it's cheaper to level a new char. However, as there's no catch-up mechanism for Knowledge Points... You have to consider (a) do I want to be a Goblin/Draenai etc and (b) am I going to make 2x303,000g (current EU token price) EXTRA profit from doing this, over the course of the expansion?

You know something wierd happend to me. I was orc with max skill alchemy and for one very profitable recipe i was missing 3 skill and i was like hey if im a goblin in a long run its gonna be worth it. After the race change i was missing 17 skill. Now im not sure if i just mixed up something or there is some strange voodoo! :D
Remember quality of items adds skill, if you had items in your inventory at a higher quality before the race change compared to after, your skill will be different
good news for my alch monk that is going to race swap to goblin as soon as 10.7 hits live servers

I didnt quite understand Dranei prospecting thing. Are you talking about hidden skill bonus there? Also what you meant by "bonus percen" ? I am maxed on prospecting(as non-dranei) and still 15 skill point away from quarenteing rank3 gems with rank2 ores. +5 from dranei wouldn't guarantee buy maybe incrase hidden skill value which Idk if it would be worth prospecting rank2 over rank3.
BTW. Prospecting is nearly 100% profitable on my server. With rank 3 serevite. Nobody seems to know :) I made 20X my gold so far even though sometimes I dont remember loging to WoW for days.
As a non Draenei who is trying to prospect quality 2 ores, you can never be in range to gain extra quality 3 procs due to being outside of the hidden skill bonus (within 5% skill); however, as a Draenei you gain +5 skill and are put into that range. So on top of inspiration and everything, you gain about a 26% chance of getting quality 3s instead of 2s by being within the 5% range. The exact % is showcased in the video. More procs = more gold!
@@Penguinr2gt Ah ok now I understand. It still needs procs for rank 3 gems. But with much higher chance. In this case it is most likely more profitable to prospect rank 2 ores with dranei than prospecting rank 3 ores(with any race).
Yea exactly! In terms of whats more profitable, it really depends on the price of ores/gems. You'll have to do some calculations with a spreadsheet or compare prices to see whats better/more worth your time!
Ah ffs just when i started to think "hey, my prospecting build is finally done, lets make some gold" i come across this information... ofc my jewelcrafter is a demon hunter so i cannot even race change it
Jewel crafting is super easy to level up, you can remake a draeni (I picked shaman) and get to 70 jewel crafting within 1-4 days. My draeni is at 105+12 jewel crafting rn
ON my pally2nd alt, lvl45, switch to a BS ,looked up BS guide.. but 115 skill in to it in town... watched your other video saying no need to lvl old profession, i sad damn it i will just level. And let my mage lvl tailoring, and send that to pally, but mage lvl 38, mage 45.. gonna be long grind.

You can still make plenty of gold without them! That’s what I do! It’s just more gold if you have the extra skill
Love the videos. Do you or anyone know, why my alts can always seem to craft 30/30 azureweave cloth whenever they want. My main tailor seems to be the only one stuck with an actual cooldown every 16 hours. Cheers.
It’s sadly the tailoring cooldown bug that has still not been fully fixed. Cooldowns are not suppose to reset to 30/30, but they still do :/
@@Penguinr2gt Yeah, it's very strange. I just checked now. 3 of the 12 characters I have can do the 30 out of 30 the rest are 3 of 30. So maybe it is being fixed now so to speak. They use to all be reset to 30 out of 30.
I wouldnt be too hopeful :P - my cooldowns have gotten as far as 7/30, then the next day it goes back to 30/30.... just be careful! If blizz determines that you are using the exploited cooldowns or producing them on purpose, it is a bannable offense.

This vibrant cloth trick has given me more than a few weeks of being able to just destroy people as far as how far I can go when they start undercutting. Still making a profit long after it sinks down to a loss for them, and so much less time trying to dump the rank2 bolts.
Wow this is kind of a shame.. doesn't seem like this should be how it works. Has this been addressed somewhere? I worry the same will happen in TWW
So far with the limited info from Alpha, the hidden skill bonus of 1-5% is gone, but Racials are the same
@@Penguinr2gt that seems like good news. I still think racials shouldn't be this impactful at end game crafting though. Makes me feel bad about being a dwarf 🙃

How is this fun? There is literally no way to predict how to make gold due to multiple RNG algorithms and hidden skill…. It’s all fraught with making shit that no one wants at massive losses… when will you start to legitimately start criticizing this system and call for a complete overhaul? 6:57
