Avoid going over your shift time by shaving off wasted mintues. In this video, I give advice on some of the most common issues that I've seen slow people down. - Навчання та стиль
scan each package thru the Todays Itinerary section and take a marker and write down what number stop it is and organize your packages that way (It doesn't take that long) Remember #2 is your first stop #1 is your warehouse pickup location
This is perfect for same day. For a regular route, with driver aid, I don't think it's necessary.
Thank you you just made my day so much easier!
@@irenewalker960I always finish a hour or more before my end time
Wow I am so glad that here in AU the packages are grouped together into 1 big bag, which means all packages inside the bag are for 1 area, and the bag has a QR code that you scan so all of the packages in that bag automatically loads into your app.
The only way I scan individually are the loose packages.
Whats worse is no darn house number on the box or house
I sort my packages in alphabetical order in quadrants basically. Quadrant A-D, E-K, L-S, T-Z. This has worked so well for me and i save time by not having to mark each stop but rather can grab say last name Berry stop #1 from quadrant 1 in my backseat w/ the seats folded down
Sort by TBA brah. They all end in 000's and you organize them into sections in your car. That way when you pull up to a stop, you look at the TBA in the app and then go to that section of your car and you only have a few packages to look at to find that one for the stop.
In my car it's 1000 and 2000 front seat
3000 4000 5000 back seat
6 7 8 9000 trunk
You said that you scanned every box why not label them the number intenory stop on the box and organize them in sequential order. And if you have issues with the gps not allowing you to proceed with the order press the question mark icon on the right top corner and press gps is not working this works most of the time and asks you to move your pin location to correct error
6:30 When this happens you can put your phone into airplane mode . Then at the top right you tap the “?” button and select “GPS not working, I’m at the location” and it should let you proceed
It's hard to get day time orders I hate to drive at night...
There is a new label out there and it appears you are showing the old labels. The new labels do no show 10/31 or whatever. They are just numbered 1, 2, 3, etc....
Also many warehouses allow you to scan the bag so it accepts everything. Just count them.
For some reason at certain times at 1 of the warehouses near me as soon as I scan the code it accepts all packages.
If you scan the bag you risk not having packages that the route says you should have. And then your rating drops because you have to mark the package as missing. The route builder's mess up becomes your problem. Not worth the risk. The labels change all the time, but you get the idea from the video.
@noahmcfadden1658 problem is that 1 of my stations have it setup that as soon as we scan the route code all of our packages are loaded. I do get your point. I had 48 packages and only 47 total after loading and this one I scanned each one. The app is not the best when scanning all the time. They removed it from my itinerary. Yes I found it later but it was not coded right and support could not add it. I know that it was a huge deal and for a couple months we all scanned each one until they did this bag thing. Warehouses are so strict on numbers that they would rather remove it from your itinerary than taking the time to pull it all out and getting a hit on their rating of leaving on time. Catch 22 basically lok
Your volume is too low on the video. It is hard to hear your awesome advice.
Gold!!!! Thank you❤ just waiting for my onboarding to complete!
I'm curious what microphone you're using for the voiceover...sounds pretty good..
fifine microphone. I bought it off Amazon.
Do they provide the vest
Yes. But not on retail deliveries. You’ll need to first pick up from the warehouse/amazon fresh location (i say that because i was only doing retail deliveries prior to the warehouse flex routes).I actually like the vest and it makes me feel better pulling up to random homes at odd hours and them easily able to identify me
Do they give you the Amazon vest?
Yes, if they have any in stock. If they do not, then they give you a basic construction workers style yellow vest. Most of the time, they do not have a blue Amazon drivers vest because they are out of stock. I wouldn't use the yellow one because people cannot tell who you are.
Thanks men
Thank u
How do u send the customer a message?

Amazon Flex is worth less
Nah theres a secret to getting higher payout when it comes on the screen. ( not meant to be told, only meant to be sold) while youre getting $54 for 3 hrs, some of us get the same for $90, or $120
You do realize this is old news and Amazon has already taken action for this
Made $57 in 3 stops and only 20 miles of driving. Little over an hr driving. It is what you make it. I do it part time…it’s not meant for full time unless you’re signed up with a DSP and using their vehicles
@SyrusLang this is true at least in my area. November and December is a better time when we can pick up 2 or 3 shifts for the day but under normal circumstances 1 or 2 shifts a day, mainly 1, is all we get. The problem is the times they create the blocks. It is all systematically determined and it makes no sense. Plus I do not like the 30 minute rule after the block ends. I do this part time and honestly it helps especially if you are using other gig apps. Just keep in mind that the longer you wait to pick up a block the more it increases. 18/hr is the minimum pay and unless it is 100% needed to make ends meet I would reconsider taking it because of the mileage. I do not like how they maximize distance for a block. We take the good with the bad.
@SyrusLang I have 3 stations in my area which helps. I picked up 3 shifts on Monday and 2 shifts on Tuesday and they were 35/hr. 6+ years ago things were different in the gig economy and the money to do it full time was there. I found that the best thing is to have a full time job and do the apps part time. Claiming mileage on taxes might get you money back this way. We all have our own reasons for doing what we do. Keep up the great work but remember our value is worth more than 18/hr. Gas will cut that down.
